As we were leaving the park last night, we saw some guy running out of the park and a security guard chasing him. From what people were saying the guy stole something but I wasn't sure. The guy was caught as we were nearing our car, and he was being escorted somewhere as we were leaving.

Last time I leave there's a power issue due to a storm, and this time it's a chase scene?

This park is getting crazy at night...

We stayed about thirty minutes past 10 and rode El Toro twice, it was pretty fun.

Ours is currently in storage in the boneyard. At one time, we had lights like the one above.

 

I saw it at Funland on the boarwalk at Rehoboth Beach, DE

It was crazy, about 5 minutes later lights for the ticket booths and metal detectors came on, but nothing else. The only lights that I didn't see go out are the lights that are on top of the tall rides and lift hills.

Last night the park lost power as my sister, dad and I were leaving the park due to the storm that appeared... We were just passing the fountain when all of a sudden the fountain stopped and the park went completely dark. There was a simultaneous GASP! from everyone in the park, followed by screams. Trying to find our way through the park, then through a pitch black parking lot with rain and debris from the ground being thrown at you by the wind is a scary experience.

I think the other day I found a similar model of the kiddie swings ride that used to be at GA, but these have lights. I think it said Sartoni on the other side.

Saw it about an hour ago... I loved it!

I'm going to the park today, I can't wait to see it!

Is there something going on with Old Country? I was at GA today and the entrance to Spin Meister's ride pad was open. I wasn't going to with the risk of getting in trouble, but I could have walked right on in. I'm very curious as to what's going on.

Anyone know any interesting shows about disney or disney documentaries that are on youtube??

I don't know how it is in PA, but in NJ there are levels leading to the full license- at 16 you can drive only with a NJ licensed driver, at 17 you can drive on your own but with restrictions (nighttime, amount of passengers), then finally at 18 you're free from restrictions. I honestly don't know about driving in other states with a permit. I tell my parents that once I can drive on my own I am going to drive down to the park regularly on weekends

I believe the restrictions based on your age are the same in PA as they are in NJ, and from doing a little research I have discovered that I in fact can drive in NJ! I hope my parents will let me drive to GA, and once I get my full license I'll be going to the park as often as I can

^ I got my permit the day after my birthday, but I haven't gotten much driving experience yet. My mom doesn't like when I drive during rush hour, so she's making me wait until summer starts for me to really drive.

I don't know if I can drive outside of PA with just a permit, if I can I would drive my family to Great Adventure all the time!

^ Occasionally I will go to Google, but I'll just wind up searching for GreatAdventureHistory instead of what I should be anyway.

I get game requests every single day... And not just Candy Crush requests. Slot machine games my aunt plays, my dad and a couple relatives play Candy Crush, and a few play Farmville. I honestly get more game notifications than any other notification on Facebook.

I also hate pay to play apps, but I hate apps that are free with in game purchases even more. In a lot of games there's always that second currency that you need, but it requires real money to get said currency. The only other way is to do those "Install this game and get (however much) of this (currency or item!)" offers. Those take forever and they give barely any reward. I refuse to buy any in game purchases on my phone, so unless it's a game I really like and I am willing to do the offers for the items, I will just unstall the app and look for another.

Facebook game requests... I get several every day and it's annoying. I get a phone notification thinking "Oh? I got a text?" Nope! Another game request... Is there anyway to block Candy Crush requests? I don't play any of those games and I wouldn't send out requests to people who don't play, why do people send them to me?

^ I do all my homework, it just takes forever because I'm reading the forums simultaneously. This website is just too interesting!

It's hard to focus on your homework sometimes when you know there is so much to read on this website...

 

Big Chair Photo was at the park in the mid 1990's. It was located in the stand behind today's Temple Waters water gun game. Like your mom said, guests would pile into an oversized chair and hold huge props that made them seem small. Here are two photos of the stand:

Tonight my mom was explaining something about a big chair where the workers would give you big props to make you seem small? She says it was kinda near the entrance to Frontier Adventures, is there more information I can have on this?

I wonder what is going on with the Movie Town sign, restoring it or possibly putting a new sign?

Is there an Old Country spotlight coming up anytime soon? I really would like to see one!

I'll go to Hurricane Harbor a few times this season, but there is no way I'm standing in line for King Cobra ever again. The Flash Pass at the waterpark makes the lines go so much slower...

I carry my phone with me, but I would NEVER take it out on a ride. I make sure it's completely secure in a pocket that is either buttoned or zippered. I'll take photos of a coaster standing on the ground looking at it, not on the ride. I never want to lose it and I definitely don't want to hurt anyone due to my carelessness... I would leave my phone at home if I didn't need it to contact my parents who are elsewhere across the park. I can't drive yet so I can't go to the park alone where I don't need my phone.
