Mulitiple tests and quizzes in one day is very common for me at my school. On my birthday I had one test and two quizzes. The worst was having four tests "coincidentally" one day last month. I would like at least a whole week without a quiz or test for once, but it will never happen.

I can't stand these cold temperatures and snow anymore... it's spring time! I would love to have some warmer temperatures and sunny skies! But no, just more snow.

Thanks guys!

I think it may still be at that park, I did a little looking around and found the website for the park it's at. It doesn't give you a list of rides, but there is a little picture slideshow type thing at the bottom, and the ride appears in the corner of two of the pictures. The website doesn't say when it was last updated though, and I can't read anything on it since it's French. http://www.azurpark.com/ Hopefully the pictures are recent!

It looks like it was an awesome ride! It's one of the rides I definitely wish was still around so I could see what it was like to ride it.

I can't wait to find out what the surprise is!!

Was this ride really a victim to frequent lightning strikes? I would think that the taller Parachuter's Perch would be the lightning rod...

I think they need to put some new flat rides in Old Country and what used to be Balin's Jungleland... a classic swing ride would be very nice, and I would also like to see a new enterprise and Musik Express. Maybe even something similar to the Schwabinchen if they are still manufactured!

When people write in shorthand, I can't stand looking at it. I honestly think it takes more effort to write in shorthand than just the actual word. Nothing annoys me more when I text someone, and they respond with "K."

This request might be a little strange, but I would really love to see a spotlight on the Boneyard. I am always wondering about it, as I've seen it mentioned in several ride spotlights. I've only seen one or two arial photos of it, and it would be really cool to see some from the ground. Obtaining such photos would be a challenge though I think, as it's not an area open to the public.

If I had 50 million dollars, I would use it to fix up Old Country and the area that was once Balin's Jungleland. They really need to be reopened with some new rides. If there was any money left over, I would use it to do something about the vacant simulator building.

I would not be so thrilled to go to Great Adventure anymore if Bizarro was replaced with something else, Bizarro is my favorite coaster of all time. While other coasters like El Toro and Kingda Ka are fun, They don't make me as happy as Bizarro does.

I'm not so sure how I feel about Zumanjaro. Riding a roller coaster at 70 mph is one thing, but dropping straight down at 90 mph is another. I feel fine coming off of El Toro, with a headache at the most. Coming off of rides such as Tower of Terror for example, I feel really sick. I did not like Rolling Thunder that much, but I feel that its spot should be honored more than with just a long path.

It's a shame how much damaged was caused by Hurricane Sandy. I was at Seaside Heights a few months before it was destroyed. What I found very devastating was the loss of their Musik Express. The Musik Express there had everything! Sirens, bubbles, modern music, it went backwards, amazing backdrop! I saw a picture a few months ago of one of the cars washed up on shore. First Great Adventure's, then Casino Pier's, how devastating! Two perfect Musik Expresses gone within a few years!

It might help to find out who was sponsoring it at the time. I am just guessing, but that might be one of the slides from Adventure Rivers in the background? In that case, the picture could have been taken anywhere between 1991-1998. I'm not sure who, but it might be useful to find who was exactly sponsoring the ride during those times. That might give you an idea what the sign said with the name of the sponsor. Was the sponsor still Kodak?

The first time I went to Great Adventure was in 2006. I remember my mom gave me the giant poster map when we got there, and I remember asking her if we could go on "the Riptide log flume thing over at the seaport." I think she said something along the lines of "it depends on the line" or something like that. The only area I remember was Loony Toons Seaport. When we got over there, I remember seeing Riptide, but it was closed. I don't think we came back later that year. However, I do remember going in 2007. I was all excited to finally get to ride Riptide. When we got there though, I was devastated. I remember thinking "Wiggles? They replaced a log flume for the Wiggles?"
Great Adventure removed too many rides before I was tall enough to ride by my self, including Riptide.

The first one I rode was in 2012, which is Rock n' Roller Coaster at Walt Disney World.

My favorite video games are Borderlands 1 and 2, the Just Dance game series as a whole (Xbox 360 only!), and Wizard 101.

I was not a very big fan of Rolling Thunder. However, I am still mad they would remove it for a pathway to a drop ride. I love roller coasters, and I have absolutely no problem riding them. However, rides such as Zumanjaro and Tower of Terror in WDW make me feel sick. Losing a ride that I would only come off of with little pain to a drop ride really stinks. I think Six Flags needs to pay attention to the undeveloped areas like Old Country, and leave areas that are in good condition alone.

I'll post one since one hasn't been posted for quite some time. (I'm the one in the background, the little girl in the front is my cousin.)

I'm also really surprised. I would much rather go to a theme park than go to the movies any day.

My family has premium memberships instead of regular premium season passes. Even though we pay more in the end, It's easier for financial reasons. There are 6 people in my household, so it's easier to pay around $40 a month, rather than all up front.

Hi everybody!
My name is Lauren, and I'm 15 years old. My Hobbies are riding roller coasters, drawing, and dancing. I love Great Adventure History, and I have been reading it since last year. My favorite superhero is The Flash. I never go to the park without my Flash T-shirt. (I call it my "Great Adventure Shirt"). I listen to music from all decades, Land of 1000 Dances and Boogie Wonderland to just name a few. My parents brought me to Great Adventure when I was a baby, but the earliest trip I remember was back in 2006. After a trip in 2007, I haven't gone again after that up until last year, when we started going regularly. This is my first year coming to Great Adventure with a premium season pass! Things that annoy me are dumb blonde jokes, (because I'm blonde) and when people wear glasses just for looks. (I actually need them!) Thank you to the creators of this website, I love it! And I can't wait for the future updates to come! (Sorry that this is so long!)

It was a dubstep festival. Did you really expect to see teenagers/young adults with working brains and no drug issues?
Granted, while I can name three exceptions when it comes to dubstep fans (Kaiser, Kevin (coasterfreak96) and one of my best friends), the stoner fans far out number the sane and rational fans.
From what I saw on RMT, it seemed like a pretty cool show. I agree that a lot of people who would go to that type of concert may be of that stature, but I actually love dubstep as well. I'm part of the group that is definitely out numbered.

I take my cell phone on every coaster, and I always make sure it's secure. I am the only one who really rides roller coasters, so I often have to go off by my self to ride them. I need my phone just in case my parents call me to tell me we're leaving or something. I can't get notified of that if I'm standing in a line and my phone is in a locker. Not to mention the only things I carry are my wallet and my phone, so I do not want to pay a dollar each time I want to ride a coaster to store two little items. If SFGA starts that "handheld metal detector" stuff, I won't be able to go off on my own anymore.
