There is ONE negative to this. With the amount of workers there is looking to be, there will be less hours for everyone and that means less pay. They are very strict about getting employees, exspecially minors out on time and sometimes early if possible to make budget.

What fireworks, I'm just corious.

They announced a "Saturday night lights" fire works event from July 4th to September 5th I believe. . . It will be at ten every saturday between those dates. .9 or 10 shows. . .

It would be nice if The Showcase could have a real show in it this year. This is something that the park is lacking, an indoor show.

Doubt showcase will open witha show, it blocked of to picnic people only. . and theirs a big metal fence in the path that cemented down so i dont think its going anywhere. .

Did anyone notice that we had very few severe thunderstorms this summer? I think it was the first season since I started going to the park that I didn't experience a thunder and lightning 'event' at GA.

I remember one, me and my manager were closing up justice league and it was only about 6pm and they closed the park due to the severe weather, our store had been closed since about 530 though, 310 supervisor had called and said to close all stores. But we had to drive to security and there was no one left in the park so we had the ok to drive in the park so we got the truck and ill never forget driveing past big wheel and having WAVES from where the truck was moving through the water crashing up agisnt the rock garden thing next to the big wheel and water coming up to about just over the center of the wheel (on the car) lol, some places deeper. That was this summer, I will never forget that.

Concerning FF, recently, they have begun scaling back in decorations also, if you have noticed, this past years FF, the fountion cemetary was pushed back a foot or two for extra space, also, the past couple of years the hearse's have been in the lakefront cemtary instead of on mainstreet, that was also for traffic.

I know, I was simply saying that, I personally hope it takes over carnegie deli, I hate that place, I miss ordering off the computers in what I think they called it main street deli or something.
