It's good for Six Flags. Hopefully business is picking up for them after the Q2 loss they had.

If it's like a carnival ride it might. If it's a ride at Six Flags, Hershey or big parks like those no. With the exception of Son of Beast. I don't think I would ever ride that after what happened in the last few years.

The link was just removed from screamscape but the picture is still on the original web site. I have it bookmarked but I don't believe it is allowed to be shared on this site. Screamscape also said today:

"...On a side note, I’ve been told not to expect Kingda Ka to reopen until around the end of July as they are hard at work trying to finish up the much needed repair to the system. No more band-aids, this should be the real fix."

I still find it hard to believe that the park would just do a "duct tape" fix to it last time knowing it was prone to break down.

I bought a Vitamin water last year at the vending machine in the scream machine line and charged it. Worked pretty well. I didn't have 5's or enough of singles so I couldn't pay cash.

I can't believe the ride has flame throwers as well. Looks like a good ride overall despite the length of the ride is short.

On the Six Flags web site it says it will have "On-board Audio - 39 speakers per train"

Thanks for the TR! I don't know about most people but I honestly don't think Superman is worth a wait more than 10-15 min. The first time I rode it I waited about 90 min for it and I regret that I waited that long. The concept is cool after the pretzel loop the ride is pretty much over.

The first picture looks like to me that there will be speakers on the side of each headrest and not just on the end of each row. I just got more excited

The time between the movie and the ride opens is pretty close only 2 days apart! Much closer than TDK was.

I've only been able to ride the left side once because it's usually closed. I must have had a bad seat on the left side but based on that one ride I felt like I needed to see a chiropractor.

I thought the left side was way rougher than the right. I was able to sneak in a left side ride last year only once and my first reaction when I got off was how much worse it was than the right.

I'm a big bowler myself and I watch it on TV. I do remember they went to Six Flags before but I think it was SFGA in Chicago if I remember correctly. I think they use people to rack the pins each frame it would be way too much to have machines do it.

I just tell them I have to run to Kingda Ka and start running away.
