  1. Yesterday was Worldwide Koaster Kids Day and Maddy, who is the Kid Reporter from the region, was hosting a Koaster Kids Day. I'm kind of burned out on the park and I feel a good musical show in the showcase would help break up a day at the park, especially with the incoming heat wave. Anyways, I started the fun a day earlier by taking advantage of the twilight special at Clementon Park, which is somewhere I have never been before. When first coming in, I thought Helcat was closed/down. However, not only is it only on one train, but they second car was closed off with cones. I rode in the left seat in the second to last row. It was rough, but it was hauling and I personally feel it is better than El Toro. Even though I got more airtime on El Toro, I feel it was worth the cred. Other highlights of my Clementon Park visit were Pharaoh's Fury, which reminded me of the Jumper ride in Parkitect, except inverted; getting stappled on their "traveling" drop tower. It seems to be similar to the one at Knoebles, which I feel is better than Clementon's and about equal with Zu. Even though it was busy, Hellcat was about 1/3 of the way up the steps, could have been a station wait with all 16 seats and a second train. Pharaoh's Fury and the drop tower were a 1-2 cycle wait. I was playing to stay from 4-6, but it ended up being more like 4:30-5:40. The park has next to no shade and no water fountains, that I saw. Anyways, the next day going to Great Adventure: got into the lot around 20 til 11 due to a "gaper delay" coming on to 195 at 7A. Met up with Maddy and the other Koaster Kids. We first headed to Zumajaro and Kingda Ka. As I said earlier, Zu is about equal with Stratopshere at Knoebles in my opinion. Since it sounded like Ka had a queue, I decided to do some offride footage of Ka/Zu instead. Ka was probably a little over 20 minutes and Zu 2 cycles. We then went over to El Toro, which was a station wait, I was somewhere in the second or third train (don't need to go over opinions). We then went over to Bizarro, which was halfway up the stairs with all 3 trains and some slight stacking to the op's jokes, but maybe less than 30 before the next train entered the station. We were then dismissed to lunch. I decided first to ride Harleyquinn (new cred). I was surprised they don't allow guests on the platform until the gates open, was lucky to get on it after a cycle. Had lunch in the boardwalk for the AC then went back to Harelyquinn, where the rest of the group rode it (I did my off ride at the time. P.S. the op that day was very fun). We then headed over to Nitro, which was 2-3 cycle wait with 3 trains. Coming up to it, it was stopped on the lift (phone probably). Nitro started stacking before my train was unloaded, probably just over a min max, but I feel it might have been only 30-45 secs. I then went on the rapids for the first time. Back in 2013, I did a tour where we went into the ride's trough. I got soaked because if you get wet in the first rapids, you get wet in the second. We then went to Skyscreamer. Just before they were going to ride, the ride was stopped due to a part falling from the ride (which was not the case and ride reopened 5-10 mins later). It was still probably a 15 min wait for them. My dad decided to ride Swashbuckler, which was the very first ride I ever rode in the park. Classic like Swashbuckler, Flying Turns, and Demon Drop hold a special place in my heart. We were going to meet them at Justice League, but they might have gone to Skull Mountain first, at least I got to go down the Wild Walkway and Old Country paths for once. It was 4:30 when we decided to leave. Could have stayed longer but my phone died and family reasons. All in all, it was a fun/day weekend. Thanks Maddy, Logan, Jeff for the event. -Lindsay
  2. I heard they had to steal parts from Fiesta Texas, but I don't know if that was the last time or what. Looks like GA, MM, and FT will push their 2019's to 2020's.
  3. Outside of Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park, there's like no shows
  4. Cedar Fair seems to be working with existing chains for Carowinds (and I think Canada's Wonderland as well, not sure). Maybe SF should go down that road.
  5. When I volunteered at Give kids the World back in March, we did Karaoke night at Old Town and it was a tad bit annoying seeing Rockstar Coaster and Mind Blower right there, but it was also maybe just as fun operating rides as it is to ride them.
  6. So Six Flags will make money in the off season, guess it will make up for the inability for year round operations.
  7. It looked like Kansas City was on the table. Since World's of Fun already has a water park (and maybe some residual negatives of that property), it would make more sense to sell it to developers, as it looks like a lot of stuff is coming in. You could easily fit a few hotel there (as it is right off I-435). P.S. the Shlitterbahn site is also across the street from a Great Wolf Lodge, but this is still 30mins away from World's of Fun on the Missouri side.
  8. Well I was thinking of moving Safari Kids to the old Ka viewing area, but do DC Super Friends over there with the Aqua Twist ride as well. It will just be weird w/ Nitro and the Rapids not fitting into DC, but then again their's Bizarro, Green Lantern, and Superman on the other side
  9. Their version of Swashbuckler. I was thinking SFA's Zamperla Discovery and Over Georgia's Free Spins could be themed to Two-Face (Two-Face: the Flip Side)
  10. Didn't know there was an outage the other day
  11. It never opened man, I think it going to go next to the park entrance if it did They also have rehabbed two other rides in the past, both were traveling coasters they only held onto for a year or 2 before getting sold
  12. The Jumping Fountains that were removed for 1999 show up, but they didn't show up in 2001 so that is weird.
  13. There are other parks Logan and the Kid Reporters are going to be hosting Koaster Kids days at, but I am planning on going to Great Adventure that day. https://www.koasterkids.com/worldwide-kk-day Where are you going to be on July 14?
  14. Adventure Rivers Jumping Fountains is still there even though it says (Removed for 1999)
  15. Now this could happen, unlike Hershend buying over Texas
  16. P.S. I had the Idea of a jr invert (size of Kiddie Hawk/Red Baron, not Dragonflier), but over by the rapids themed to Green Lantern or Super Girl. It would be cool if the kiddies rides outside Skull Mountain were themed into the Skull Island backstory, then put the kiddie rides that Don't fit either in National Park or on the Zumanjaro path/Old Ka extended queue if they don't want to scrap more.
  17. My friend Marissa, who works at Justice League and Cyborg, told me that. I am a little burnt out on the park so I'm planning on going on Koaster Kids day (July 14), Fright Fest (Rowan does the trip every year), and hopefully Holiday in the Park (I'm 19 and don't drive yet, so it would only work if she doesn't work a weekend)
  18. They'll probably relocate Flight Deck from Canada's Wonderland (hopefully replacing Anaconda). Then put a B&M Invert (don't know what they'd call it, it would have to fit the Exposition of 1890) replacing Flight Deck and Time Warp. They still have Vortex and Silver Streak so Wonderland could go for an RMC Wilde Beast or Mack multi-launch. P.S. CW should relocate Drop Tower to Orbiter's spot, I think Skyhawk could work better in Medieval Faire
  19. My friend Marissa, who works at Justice League, said that one of the screens wasn't working and she went in and "increased guests experience" (or something along those lines, not sure about the exact wording anymore).
  20. What evidence do you have it's an RMC single rail coaster instead of ground up? we only know big and steel, they could do a ground up with I-box track (since they haven't done it, it doesn't mean they never will)
  21. Educated Guess: Green Lantern: First Flight and Sasquatch were going to be relocated to Dubai. Since that park has been otherwise cancelled, and Darien Lake and Frontier City re-acquired, 2020 will be very different. The family coaster next to the Starflyer and the flats would be taken by Motiongate and Bollywood Park. Magic Mountain: 450ft tall starflyer (Supergirl), replaces Green Lantern Frontier City+Great America: 225ft starflyer (Skyscreamer), one would have been intended for SF Dubai Darien Lake: Free Fly (Batman the Ride), Ride of Steel gets original name back, Lasso becomes Wonder Women: Lasso of Truth, Scambler becomes Harleyquinn Spinsanity, Boomarang becomes Two-Face: the Flip Side, Predator becomes The Joker New England: Gen 2 Enterprise (Supergirl, replaces Krytonite Collider), Mat Racer or more food options in HH Over Texas: Mack Power Splash, intended for Dubai Great Escape: Skyscreamer (replaces Condor) St. Louis: RMC Raptor (Wonder Women) or Free-Fly (Two-Face) Over Georgia: Free Fly (Two-Face: the Flipside) La Ronde: Total Mayhem (Green Lantern: First Flight) America: Zamperla Discovery (Two-Face: The Flip Side), focus on general improvements Discovery Kingdom: Gen 2 Enterprise (Catwomen's Whip) Fiesta Texas: First of its kind ride, probably Mexico: Super Loop (El Diablo) *Great Adventure* El Sombrero (Kryptonite Collider) in El Diablo's spot, Bizzaro is reverted back to Medusa, the RMC intended for Dubai
