  1. *Attempts to turn Kentucky Kingdom into Busch Gardens Asia and fails*, just an idea I threw into a novel series
  2. SFA's Mind Eraser and Bizarro are renamed Chupacabra with an all black color scheme. I don't know the last time multiple parks got kids area expansions since 2010-2012 when they lost a bunch of IP, so if Great Adventure is getting DC Super Friends, then every other park will get flats. My coaster predictions are 2 free spins (St. Louis and Over Georgia), and a relocation of Gotham City Gauntlet to the Great Escape (with Catwoman Whip renamed Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth). I personally feel Magic Mountain will go with a Water Coaster and a Chance Freestyle (Cyborg) in Green Lantern's spot, with enough rough for an Endevour or something later maybe
  3. Joe Rhode is probably the second most famous for his work on Animal Kingdom.
  4. This is exactly what I was thinking, It's kind of like is the new episode of Power Rangers at 8a or 8:30a on Saturday? (don't answer that, end of tangent)
  5. I think I know where Six Flags got their idea for Discovery Kingdom's Wild Mouse now
  6. Even though not set in stone, I would probably want to go 9/28 because it's early on in the season and I'll be doing the Ren Faire the week after (not sure how I want to finish this, but eh)
  7. I'd scrap the subs, the remaining rides I feel have potential Taz Twister and Road Runner- National Park becomes Boomtown piece Teacups, Barnstormer, Canyon Blaster-DC Super Friends (along with new kiddie drop tower and flying scooters)
  8. After some issues with the internet, I'm back to action at Rowan
  9. Michigan's Adventure's Camp Snoopy includes a new kiddie coaster and Sesame Place will be celebrating its 40th, so other than the return of the Birthday Street Party and possible upgrades for that, I don't see anything notable going into Sesame Place in 2020. I can post a new thread about my Sesame Place ideas if anybody wants.
  10. From the animation, the lakeside looks awesome
  11. I'd say I was presently surprised with the ride, but I wish it shared its name and theme with Fiesta Texas' Super Air Race. I feel the Screampunk District would be a good area for Great Adventure (outside of kids areas). I personally feel the devil looks cartoony and cheap.
  12. They were running all the cars, but there was a point when one hit the final break run and another was on the track, then another one went out a few seconds later.
  13. After seeing a lot of videos surrounding Grand Carnivale, I finally made an excuse to return to Dorney Park (after what happened on my 8th grade trip). My mom also came and started (did the after 4 deal). She had the Beyond Burger and I had her fries. I had recently installed the app and it said 15 min wait for all coasters. I went over to Wild Mouse and waited 80mins and their were doing single person and half full trains. The wait time would be much lower if they did pairs and put two single riders together. This is more of an op problem, the rides is Meh (Dark Knight being indoors makes it cool). Next was Talon. When I went in 2014, it had broke down in the morning, but reopened later. It was about 40mins from when I joined the queue til I met back up with my mom (she doesn't really likes rides tbh). I was in Row 6, and I don't know if I had gone that far back on Batman or Great Bear (the only B&M inverts i've ridden) and felt like i was getting whipped through the later inversions (not the loop and not the drop as much). I haven't ridden the others since at least 2017 (I forget if I rode Batman on my 2018 visit). 3rd coaster (and last new credit of the night) was Thunderhawk. Thunderhawk was a station wait. Even in the middle of second car, I would describe as "Diet Phoeniox", but it was very short. Phoeniox is most likely my #1, but I only rode Holiday World's woodies once in 2016 so that could change when I see my Indy cousins again. Even if Voyage does overtake Phoeniox, it will still hold a special place for me. Speaking of special rides, Demon Drop, being a "classic" also holds a soft spot for me. It was a stair wait (15-20 max from joining the queue to exiting the ride). One of the guy I rode with actually remembered Great Adventure's freefall. It might be over quick, but it's just a fun ride. After that, it was about a 25 min wait for a sunset ride on Steel Force. I did the second to last row and it was hauling and the wind was blowing strong in my face with a lot of airtime. It was a littler jerky into the turn through the mid course, but the rest was awesome. I don't know if I like Nitro more or Steel Force at this point (then again Millie, Valravn, and Ka-despite also being over 200ft, are in leagues of their own). Anyways, it was about time for the parade to start so we headed over to Planet Snoopy (then saw it as it made it's way around the carousel and pretty much left at that point). Dorney needs to fix its app, or cut the wait time feature. It's better to say the wait is longer than it actually is than shorter, it's just a matter of business. Other than the terrible Wild Mouse operations, it was a great day. Now just have the both B&M's (and Woodstock Express) open during Winterfest, that be great.
  14. WoF is getting a Water Park Expansion, kinda like Dorney (except that looks more like a replacement than something interesting)
  15. I've seen video (mostly from Theme Park Worldwide and Coaster Studios) about the Carnivale at Kings Dominion and since it was coming to Dorney, I felt I could wait for their thoughts. TBH, since KI and KD have the Eiffel Tower replicas, it made a million percent more sense for them to have it. Doreny and Worlds of Fun are two parks that often get the shaft, so they kind of want to try something with them.
  16. Maybe a state on the east coast does, like a Top Scan (as Carowinds and Canada's Wonderland have those and they are not in any of the highlighted states), Wonderland does have a lot of European flats that no parks in the US do. Both of those are smaller things so it would make sense to replace with a flat-I feel the theater more likely will go, but if its the boomarang-I think they will use the parts for their other boomarangs instead of relocating or outright scrapping it.
  17. Remove Tidal Force and the Wild Mouse are good ideas (Tidal Force because it will just be replaced by another water ride and Wild Mouse because its similar to Laff Trakk, give it to Kentucky Kingdom or something). I was also thinking at the time of riding Wildcat, if/when it gets RMC'd, that it should get a storm theme (Triple Hurricane [3 hurricanes hit the greater area in the year the ride opened], Super Storme [might be too similar to Storm Runner, but it would be a reference to Sandy], Perfect Storm [weak name for a roller coaster, but I was on Wikipedia looking at NJ Hurricanes and there was a Nor'easter in '91 or so dubbed the Perfect Storm, that was before my time], also IronCat and Turbulence [continue the idea of bringing back a name, since it brought back one] are high on my list. A little off-topic, but I feel Hershey would be idiots at this point to do a separate water park after pouring so much into Boardwalk.
  18. Universal isn't one to boast about their 5 year plans, but a 4th gate, very likely.
  19. I didn't quite get the full scoop on the Grove Show Last Night but it, in short, ended with that they may look at removing the safari (later than sooner), due to the costs. It is a people eater, but the question I'm getting at is how much longer do you think Great Adventure will keep Safari Off Road Adventure?
  20. "Only the children of out children will know the price they have to pay".
  21. Dorney has been owned for Cedar Fair since '98 or so, thus it was never owned by Paramount. I did see something about Dorney get parts from another park or something (not Cedar Fair, but another park, or at least somewhere)
