  1. I wasn’t at the park personally but I know people who did see King Cobra disassembled on Wednesday.
  2. It’s odd that Reflections of the Dead and Wicked Woods won’t be open until September 28th. I’m very excited for the new mazes. This could be one of the best Fright Fests to date, ignoring the crowds.
  3. Tigris will be coming to Busch Gardens Tampa for the 2019 season. This will be a Premier Rides Skyrocket II. A 2020 Gwazi makeover (RMC? GCI?) was also teased. “Busch Gardens will open Florida’s tallest launch coaster in spring 2019, company officials announced Wednesday. The triple-launch, tiger-themed roller coaster called Tigris will hurl riders 150 feet into the sky, turn them upside down and swirl through curves at 60 miles per hour. It will also move backward. Is losing your lunch the park’s new business model? "We like to have a portfolio for every member of the family," said Busch Gardens president Stewart Clark. "But with Tigris, it will only be the bravest members." Clark also revealed that a "big attraction" is coming in 2020 in the space currently occupied by the closed wooden roller coaster Gwazi, a pretty large footprint to fill. The announcements coincide with parent company SeaWorld Entertainment’s promise from interim CEO John T. Reilly to make the parks more oriented toward thrill rides, in addition to featuring animals. This, leaders say, will help the parks better compete with rivals Disney and Universal, which have beloved movies to call on for attraction appeal.” -Tampa Bay Times
  4. Rollies Coaster and Doo Wopper both provide similar thrills for families. I’m surprised because it’s a very compact space that not many rides like Flitzer can fit in. I believe the Flitzer at Jenkinsons in Point Pleasant will be the only one left in America.
  5. Unfortunately I think the claim is true. I’ve heard from multiple people in management that this will be moving to La Ronde as their new for 2019 attraction- “Chaos”.
  6. Even if it made landfall it would most likely be going either very North in Canadian territory or near the Carolinas. It’s a few days too early to tell. Edit: It looks like it’s now a tropical storm and may not even make landfall. Most likely high rip currents in the Jersey area if anything.
  7. It’s been closed all season and a good chunk of last season too. Signage has been removed as well as all the tubes.
  8. 9.43 The Point just leaked the new ride. I won’t share details here is the link: http://943thepoint.com/six-flags-great-adventure-wonder-woman-ride/
  9. Take it with a grain of salt. I think it’s official but some people are dedicated to spreading fake news, especially the coaster community.
  10. I’ve met up with him a few times at the park. He is as clueless as everyone else. Your right, it might not be a giant discovery but a lot of clues point towards it. At least we can be happy that something thrilling and exciting to coming to the park next year.
  11. The “Fear” maze looks like a huge improvement over the Total Darkness maze which I assume that it’s replacing. Does anyone know if the mirror maze will be replacing “The Heist”?
  12. Cell Block 6 will be returning for Fright Fest 2018 in Freefall’s spot. This would mean you couldn’t start even the basic construction until after Halloween. Bloodshed won’t be returning to the park which sits on a lot of land in the Golden Kingdom. Maybe that space could possibly house the 2019 addition.
  13. What would be very cool if they had one DC Universe area with 2 “sub-areas”. The area by Batman, Dark Knight and the Studio Arcade could be Gotham City and where Justice League is you could make that area Metropolis. If you could include things like maybe cardboard buildings or props from both cities in the comics I think this would really add to the areas theming.
  14. 15. With Yukon Striker (Tallest, Fastest and Longest Dive Coaster) already announced earlier this morning for Canada’s Wonderland, what could the rest of the Cedar Fair chain be getting? Some parks aren’t announcing until later this month and some are announcing this week. This is definitely a very exciting time for enthusiasts everywhere.
  16. It looks like some crates have arrived on site at the park. .
  17. I doubt it’ll be a coaster, but Screamscape is just as clueless as we are about the 2019 addition.
  18. Knoebels got hit pretty hard too and is flooding just like Hershey. Both parks look to be closed for the rest of the week.

It doesn’t look to open up anytime soon. The tubes are gone and the entrance has been boarded up.
  20. They announced the “Steelers Country” themed area today for Kennywood which will replace Log Jammer. The roller coaster will be called “Steel Curtain” which apparently refers the the Pittsburgh Steelers good run in the 70s and 80s. It will feature 9 inversions, will be 220 feet tall and will reach speeds of up to 75 MPH. It will be manufactured by S&S.
  21. I went yesterday to ride it for the first time but it was closed from when I got there to ride it to closing. The ironic thing was that it started to test right after the park had closed.
  22. It looks like Mama Floras is back on the dining plan again. Theres a lot of unique items that can’t be found anywhere else in the park.
  23. You also have to bring into consideration Plaza Del Carnival and the Golden Kingdom which aren’t present in this recreation. It’s not really a perfect fit if you account for everything in my opinion.
  24. Frontier City owns 1 side of Lightning Loops and it’s operational as “Diamondback”. Happy to see Lightning Loops owned by Six flags again.
