  1. The poster size park maps are definitely my favorite (I have several)! Maybe they can print a limited amount for the season and number them. Since Six Flags makes changes/additions to every park every year, a limited number of maps for the year should ensure little to no inventory at the end of the season. Coaster Dynamix models would be great also. I have several from the Cedar Fair parks.
  2. HITP just keeps getting better every year! Hopefully the weather cooperates!
  3. My father and I are planning a few very ambitious trips for the spring and summer of 2019. We're definitely going to be hitting our home parks which are Great Adventure, Dorney Park, Keansburg Amusement Park and iPlay America. We're also hoping to make it into Nickelodeon Universe's Media day, and attend it multiple times if possible. The first large summer trip would bring us down south, and then leading into the Mid-Western region of the U.S. The parks that we'd hit (in order) include Kings Dominion, Carowinds, Dollywood, Holiday World, Kentucky Kingdom, Kings Island, Cedar Point and possibly a Pennsylvania park such as Waldameer, Kennywood, Knoebels or Hershey on the way home. Our second large summer trip would bring us up north into Canadian Territory only before hitting New York parks, and possibly looping into Ohio. The park we'd hit (again in order) would consist of Darien Lake, Canada's Wonderland and Cedar Point. This trip isn't as far in planning as the other trip, so there is a possibility of use hitting other parks such as Great Escape, Michigan's Adventure, and even Quassy. There is a possibility that we'll hit other small parks within 2 hours of our home, but we haven't made any plans to do this quite yet. Let us know if any of you are planning to go to any of these parks, and maybe we could meet up!
  4. List your tentative 2019 amusement park and theme park plans here!
  5. Boy, its sure gonna be cold up there but a great view depending on where you sit. The more rides open , the better to absorb the crowds.
  6. I don't think Bizarro is going anywhere anytime soon. Bizarro and Nitro (which has the highest guest capacity in the chain) have the highest guest capacity in the park which really helps out on those busy days (like Frightfest ).
  7. Hey fetish911, we did our passes last Saturday , a little bit of a line but it was quick, and they just added the renewal to our old passes. The fright fest pass had to be picked up at the extreme ticket booth by the parachutes and the picture pass at the main photo center by the fountain.
  8. I would agree with that. Or maybe if they just kept the Wonder Woman Theme, and changed the name a little bit it would’ve been good.
  9. Well, I And many other people called it! It’s going right in freefall’s old spot and Cell Block 6’s former location
  10. I know everyone else is saying the same thing, but I have to go with We Like To Party by Vengaboys. Can never forget that Mr. Six commercial! Also, the Holiday in the Park theme song played when the Celebrate The Season show is going on reminds me of Great Adventure's Holiday In The Park
  11. I'm pretty sure we're getting a Discovery, it would be a great fit for the area and the GP love them. I would bet that MM gets some sort of dueling coaster (maybe even a dueling TRex) based on the land area they have available and the fact that it is open year round. SFAmerica is going to convert Apocalypse to a floorless (best bang for the buck, Rougaru comes to mind). As far as the rest of my predictions.... That will be on my YouTube channel real soon (Coliwood Studios).
  12. Whatever Great Adventure gets is going where Freefall used to be. We were in the park last Friday and the surveyor was taking elevation shots in that area and he told us that is where the new ride was going. Its a pretty decent sized area around 4 acres. I would put my money on a Giant Discovery, it would be a good fit and would look good swinging out over that whole paved area. Second maybe a Skywarp or even an S&S Screamin' Swing. Third by a long shot would be a coaster, either a Raptor or Chance (since track was spotted heading this way, but probably going to the port for shipping). On another note: It would be nice if Six Flags played the national anthem each morning to open the park like the Cedar Fair parks do, just sayin'.....
  13. We stayed on a non wheeled seat for a few Ride Los Angeles (2nd to back), but then had to sit in the 3rd to back and it didn’t hurt at all! I could ride it all day and not feel a thing!
  14. That location has been like that for quite some time now because they use that plot of land as a great viewing site for the fireworks. They make so much money off of people paying for V.I.P. seating, that they wouldn't get rid of that plot of land by using it for a skywarp when there are so many other, better places for their 2019 attraction. (And so many better choices for their 2019 attraction)
  15. I'm still staying with my prediction that they're getting a raptor or t-rex in either Metropolis or Golden Kingdom. I do believe that there is a chance that they could get both a raptor/t-rex and a skywarp or other flat ride to compete with the opening of Nickelodeon Universe in the Meadowlands.
  16. Hershey is great! At this point it's my favorite park, but that may change after my first ever trip to Cedar Point next week!
  17. Definitely: Great Adventure- Home Park Dorney Park- 2nd Home Park Kings Dominion Cedar Point- OVC Trip Kings Island- OVC Trip Knoebels- OVC Trip Kennywood- OVC Trip Keansburg- 3rd Home Park Probably: Playland’s Castaway Cove Maybe: SFNE Six Flags America Busch Gardens Williamsburg Casino Pier Jenkinson’s Boardwalk
  18. @philthynj and I had an AMAZING day at Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor Thursday. We stayed from opening to closing because the park was DEAD on a Thursday in the summer!!! The park was dead mainly because there were thunderstorms in the forecast, and there were only two instances that were a slight rain, but nothing much. Hurricane Harbor was also dead, so we managed to do every main slide there other than King Cobra as it was closed. We also ran into the YouTuber MillenniumForce which was pretty cool. I got LROTNON (Last Ride Of The Night On Nitro) which was very awesome in the front row! I was able to successfully do the T-Pose on Nitro and El Toro. I also beat lots of my own park records yesterday!! ———————————————————————— Here’s the ride count: El Toro 25x, Bizarro 2x, Kingda Ka 4x, Batman 1x, Nitro 17x, Justice League 3x, Joker 2x, Skull Mountain 1x, Log Flume 1x Me: 56 Rides The Four Winds 4x, Big Wave Racer 1x, Big Bambu 1x, Reef Runner 1x, The Falls 2x, Bada Bing Bada Bang Bada Boom 4x, Tornado 1x, Hurricane Mountain 5x Me: 19 Slides 75 Total Attractions!!! ———————————————————————— I beat my record for riding El Toro in one day, as I rode it 25 times yesterday. I broke my record for riding Nitro in one day, getting 17 rides. I also rode more rides in one day than I ever have before at 56 rides. For Hurricane Harbor, I broke my slide count for one day getting on 19 slides. And we actually went back and forth from Parks which I’ve never done in one day. In total, I rode 75 Attractions which I’ve never even came close to!!
  19. The ride is looking great! Does anyone know how far back this ride’s queue line will go. Would they be able to fit another flat or a raptor behind it/next to it?
  20. Had a great day at Dorney Park last week, and got on a lot of rides. The crowds were very light and the weather was perfect. Unfortunately, Hydra closed mid-day and didn’t reopen. In the one front row ride I managed to get on Hydra, I had a very rough ride, and I don’t know if it became rough over the off season, or if it just had bad wheels. Thunderhawk was also closed due to retracking, but we did catch some test runs from it! I decided to take a ride on Monster which ended up being a huge mistake. I felt so nauseous on that ride as the cycle was too long, and I never feel sick on rides. Demon Drop was actually open and I got a few rides on it for my first time. It was easily the most intense drop tower I’ve ever ridden, and maybe even the most intense ride at Dorney. It still absolutely hate their no re-ride policy, and if that didn’t exist, I would’ve gotten so many more rides on the coasters. That policy majorly impacts my experience at Dorney in a negative way, and I hope that policy is repealed soon. We also spotted some reminiscence of Stinger in the form of T-Shirts, magnets, candy, and actually a sign pointing towards Stinger Dorney forgot to take down. Here was my ride count for the day: Talon 4x, Hydra 1x, Possessed 2x, Steel Force 4x, Demon Drop 3x, Monster 1x, Kaleidoscope 1x, Cedar Creek Flyers 1x Me: 17 Rides
  21. Here’s a rendering of a possible spot for a T-Rex/Big Raptor I made that fits where Rolling Thunder used to roar. It fits perfectly in that spot. I’d definitely rather see a Coaster than a flat package over there. I’m insterested to see if everyone agrees with me that it’ll be a RMC T-Rex or Raptor in 2019 or 2020.
  22. Great Adventure - 4 times so far I Play America - 1 time so far (rainy day) Dorney - 1 time so far to process Cedar Fair passes (way too expensive!!) Knoebels - Booked Cedar Point - Booked Kings Island-Booked Kennywood-Booked Casino Pier Keansburg Clementon - Maybe Kings Dominion - Maybe Busch Gardens Williamsburg - Maybe SFNE - Maybe SF Darien Lake - Maybe SF Great Escape - Maybe
  23. I bet they started the no glasses policy due to the video recording glasses, there are quite a few recent p.o.v. videos on youtube and I understand park management is not to happy about it.
  24. This is great news! When do you think we can uses our passes/memberships to visit? Now only if they could get the Busch properties....
