I am so goddamn excited about the fact that I can get my coaster fix during the three months of GA not being open. I live like 35 mins away from GA, and around 30 from the future Nickelodeon.

The footers were completed a long time ago, but they are most likely targeting an opening around Memorial Day. I think SkyHigh Coasters LLC is erecting the rides for SFGAdv, SFGAm, and SFDK this year. It looks like Maxx Force is going up quickly, so they will probably come here next.
I've seen the ground laid for a while now, so I assumed they had done something other than just clear up space. You are almost definitely right about the Memorial Day opening, as that's when pretty much every ride opens now.

I know that attractions rarely open on opening day, and that they typically open sometime in May, but I can't imagine that a Frisbee is that hard to install. I know that it definitely won't happen, so I'm not really sure why I'm posting this, but the idea of a Frisbee taking a while to install baffles me. They have already started advertising it, and if they started in March, I'm sure they would get many people there on Opening Day. Thoughts?

DKC is a fun little ride, and when it opened with the full theming it was well done. It's a nice intermediate coaster for the kids who aren't big enough for the B&Ms.
I really wish all the theming still worked, not nearly as well done as when I first started riding it. I know that it's Six Flags, but a lot of stuff is missing like Joker saying "Why so serious" in the tunnel, and the voice coming over the speaker in the pre show room telling you to evacuate.

Haven't been since 2016.

Yeah, it's no joke. I found myself nearly fully standing the last time I took a backseat ride on the Mountain.
I went on for the first time in the season at Fright Fest, and I found it to be smoother and an overall better ride than previous years, I wonder what they changed.

If Great Adventure is my home park now, but I live closer to the future site of Nickolodeon Universe, will that become my home park when it opens up? I mean it seems obvious but I'm still not sure how big or how many rides NU will have.

I'll be so pissed if Bizarro goes, it's probably my favorite ride at the park, although Nitro is definitely close. I do miss the old theming/audio, but I guess the lines weren't long enough, so they couldn't justify keeping it. The coaster is literally my pfp

I visited Hershey Chocolate World before Christmas and I went on the ride for the first time since its recent update. I was disappointed to see several of the props replaced with screens and I thought the musical finale section wasn't as good as previous versions. I wasn't really a fan of the remodeled queue either. Maybe I am just more for nostalgia.
Everyone in my group was thoroughly confused when we were riding that dark ride, it was still cool but the old feel was so much better.

I love Battle for Metropolis, but you can tell MM's version had a much bigger budget, it featured Harley Quinn and even had a Harley animatronic at the end. The queue is also really different.

Does anyone know why they haven't had superhero walk-around/meet n greets in the past 4-5 years? They would make sense considering for the past 3 years we have gotten a new DC themed attraction.
