  1. Anyone else think the park should put more effort into lighting packages on their rides and coasters? Don’t get me wrong the recent additions of WW and Cyborg look great at night but what about the coasters? I think the perfect candidates would be: El Toro Jersey Devil Bizarro Tracer Lights on GL and Superman Lifts and ofc updated LEDs on Big Wheel *I know people are indifferent about lighting Ka’s Tower up because of night rides but I think it would look great imo.
  2. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter if it’s a clone. A coaster is a coaster at the end of the day. But from an enthusiast’s perspective it’s extremely tiring seeing unoriginality at your home park. I understand from a business perspective it saves money, etc. etc.. but would it kill Six Flags to appreciate and value each park as it’s own property and add attractions accordingly. Six Flags is just lazy and cheap if we’re being honest. More focused on a profit than the guest experience. But that’s 99% of businesses in America anyway.. Yay Capitalism.
  3. I knew JDC was gonna be cloned based on the layout but I wish it could’ve stayed an uniquely Gadv coaster. The park already has one too many clones as is, whether the original or not. Six Flags needs some originality especially with coaster designs.
  4. Each update just gets better and better! If there’s good speed going into that turn around (which I’m sure there will be) the laterals are gonna be insane. TBH, This might take El Toro’s crown...
  5. The height difference between the first drop/dive loop and the airtime hill means one thing... EJECTOR!
  6. Cool video. Off topic but I never realized how spread out Nitro’s airtime hills are compared to newer hypers like Mako. Interesting.
  7. Ahh makes sense. I guess that’s where the name Rotting Lumber came from. It’s sad that it wasn't maintained properly. Theres a lot of wooden coasters significantly older than RT that are still running. I just hope the park learned a lesson and gives El Toro the extra attention it deserves.
  8. This isn’t really an idea for the park since it’s now impossible but after seeing RMC transform rides like Mean Streak/Gwazi/TC into these insane new hybrid coasters and reading the reviews of how amazing these rides are, it makes me question why Six Flags never thought about giving Rolling Thunder the RMC treatment. The excuse for RT being removed in the first place was for Zumanjaro’s queue (which still seems like BS to me). There was so much potential for greatness with the length of track and space RT had. Was it out of the budget at the time? or maybe the structure couldn’t handle a refurbishment? What do you guys think?
  9. While we’re on the topic of lighting, the park should look into getting spotlights on Kingda Ka’s tower. I know some enthusiasts enjoy pitch black night rides but I think it would look really good from all over the park/parking lot, especially with Zumanjaro on the tower.
  10. After a recent visit for the first time in years, it was great to see crowds are now disbursed evenly throughout the park, instead of the major coasters having 2+ hour waits all day. My longest wait wasn’t even a coaster!
  11. This coaster is so aesthetically pleasing. The lift/drop shape reminds me of Millennium Force. If lighting does get added I hope it’s just flood lights on the lift and the rest of the ride pitch black.
