I like that Ferris wheel planter and how open the Yum Yum Cafe interior looks 

My favorite effect was the hologram billboards that looked like clowns were going to attack that unfortunately only worked for a few years after the ride opened.

I was never disappointed with TDK maybe because I knew it was going to be an indoor wild mouse and not a thrill coaster. I liked it along with Skull Mountain when I want to take a break from the larger coasters.

I have 3 albums of them from the parks I have visited with some from Great Adventure. It’s always fun to walk around the park and see if there is a new penny that you want to add to your collection.

In addition to new theme elements, I'd like to see all of the theming and props that are no longer lit up, being visible again like the Tiki masks and the 2nd pumpkin in the middle of the ride.

I also miss Glow in the Park. I thought it was very well done for a regional park and that you could show up a few minutes before the parade start time and get a great viewing spot.

I always call the park Great Adventure. Calling the park Six Flags could mean any park in the chain to me (even though I know everyone in the area is referring to just Great Adventure).

I really like Cedar Fair’s drink plan with the paper cups. Besides it being more hygienic, I don’t like leaving the souvenir bottle in the station of a ride or at the entrance. 

It would help save time when walking through the park if it was gone. Normally I would just walk into the arcade to bypass the Boardwalk but it was not always open.

I would usually park on the Green Lantern side of the lot and try to park away from others because I'd rather walk an extra minute or two from the car to the park entrance to avoid driving near people walking to the cars (even driving very slow it was difficult at times if you park closer).  I agree Hershey really does have a good setup.

I like the idea of offering Flash Pass as a pay per ride option so you can just pay less if you just want to use it on a ride or two. When I was at Lake Compounce in 2010 they did something similar, each ride cost $1-$3 to skip the line. It wouldn't have been worth it to pay for an unlimited all day use price but for Ghost Hunt, $1 saved 30+ minutes in line.

I like that the Skyway is back to a round trip even if it means a slightly longer line with no one able to wait at the other station. Seeing the lights all over the park from the Skyway was always one of my favorite parts of HITP.

That’s great to see they are bringing it back. I don’t think I’ll be back to Pittsburgh anytime soon but if I ever visit Kennywood again, I’m glad I’ll have another chance to try the ride.

I'm planning to check out Sea World's event at least once or twice. That's great to know that the shows at both parks are good. I'll try to see some of the shows when I visit for more time since I have been mostly just stopping in for an hour or 90 minutes when I am near Busch Gardens.

I went to Busch Gardens on Friday. It was the first day of Christmas Town but I did not stay late enough to see the lights but will visit again when I can stay later in the day.

It wasn't too crowded, only Cobra's Curse and Sand Serpent had lines of more than 10 minutes. Cobra's Curse was a posted 45 minute wait although it was probably less. I used my 1 Quick Queue there. Sand Serpent only runs 4 cars and doesn't dispatch a car until the previous car is almost to the drops after the hairpin turns. What would be under a 10 minute wait at The Dark Knight was a posted 30 minute wait here. With the log flume closed for annual maintenance and Falcon's Fury closed all day, that only left the train, rapids, carousel and bumper cars as non coaster rides open. Besides the Screamin Swing that is supposed to be added, some more non coaster rides are really needed.

The park is decorated very well, it reminded me a lot of Holiday in the Park. Besides being able to meet Santa, there was also a Rudolph meet and greet.

Cheetah Hunt is being repainted and supposed to reopen later next month.

That’s good to hear about Fantasmic.

I was looking at the Christmas Party dates a few days ago when trying to plan which day in the next few weeks I wanted to visit on a non party day and couldn’t believe how many dates were sold out. I didn’t realize some night were $249. 

I agree, just like the trams that are sitting there in the parking lots or how they haven't brought back shows like Fantasmic and no parades except during the after hours party but they can pack 70 people in a small pre-show holding room at Rock N Rollercoaster.

When I walk past the ticket booths and see it's $139 for a 1 day ticket or $500 for a 4 day ticket, I think about how much more expensive it is to visit with so much missing but I guess it doesn't matter since last month the parks have been very busy.

Disney considering making portion sizes smaller at restaurants to cut costs.

I have been eating at Regal Eagle when I go to Epcot and I noticed they already reduced the size of the side items with a kids meal. The first 3 times I ate there since September, the sides were in a tray type container. On Monday, the sides were now in much smaller paper cups.

The rides and park look really well themed and detailed. It also looks like the Dragon coaster has a much better layout compared to the Florida version.

I have never been to a Legoland park before but hope to visit the Florida park next year.

I never liked the Memorial Day to Labor Day schedule with how warm it can be in April and September/October. I would have never thought it would be open into November. I remember opening weekend 2010 in March it was in the 40s and it was open then too. 

Could Great America and New England be taking a more cautious approach because in addition to the colder weather, those 2 parks are in states where amusement parks did not open last year and maybe they don't want to commit to too many rides open if they have to shut rides down again if there is a post Thanksgiving spike in cases?

I was at Sea World on Friday of Labor Day weekend to see Electric Ocean/Ignite. Unfortunately from getting there at 6:00 to about 8:30, it rained the entire time and the rides were closed. The rides reopened but there wasn't enough time to get to the Ignite viewing area and stop at any rides. I hadn't ridden Mako since June on the drive to FL from PA and before going to Animal Kingdom stopped at Sea World for a 90 minute visit.

Mako was having minor technical difficulties but there was an announcement that they recommend staying in line because it shouldn't take too long. 5 minutes later and the ride was running again. Only 1 train was running but it was only a 1-2 train wait. It felt great to ride a B&M Hyper again and for now, Mako remains my favorite coaster in Florida. After 3 rides I walked over to Kraken that also had 1 train running with a mostly empty station. Unfortunately, Kraken is a little rough and is probably my least favorite floorless coaster because of that but it's still a good coaster.

Journey to Atlantis had a posted 20 minute wait but didn't have anyone else in line. This has become one of my favorite rides with it being a mix of a dark ride, flume and coaster. I would have liked to have tried the original version with all the effects and storyline working. After 2 rides I left and went to Animal Kingdom.

Crowds are still low at Disney. Other than the 2 Pandora rides, everything else was a 10 minute wait or less.

Kilimanjaro Safaris is always fun with a lot of animals to see although I prefer Great Adventure's Safari.

Navi River Journey is cool with all the glowing theming but would be better with more animatronmics.

We got on the last train to Rafiki's Planet Watch and got to the last Animation Experience of the day. Animation Academy was one of my favorite things at Hollywood Studios and was glad to see that the experience was still available in the parks.

After It's Tough To Be A Bug, I went to ride Dinosaur. Other than watching the pre-show, there was no waiting and I got my own ride vehicle. It was fun to ride Dinosaur with no one else there. Since there was no line, I was offered a re-ride.

Primeval Whirl is being removed and some of the track is already gone. I hope they add a new coaster or some kind of new ride to replace it.

There are 50th Anniversary statues all over the 4 WDW parks.
