The concerts have been getting worse over the last couple of years. Last year may have been the first year that they did not have a classic rock band. I only saw one concert at the park in 2014, Michael W. Smith. I would have seen Sabrina Carpenter if the power did not go out.
-
I probably wont be able to get to the park until April 18.

I saw that, but it did not say valid only at SF Great Adventure.
-
If I buy it at Great Adventure, can I use the discount at other Six Flags parks?
-
I'm glad I rode it on my last day there last year. Its sad that they are losing a ride and not replacing it with anything.
-
When I was there last year on a 12:00 closing, they closed the ride lines around 11:30. Although, I was only at Fright Fest one day when they closed at 12:00 last year, so it may have been different other days.
-
We are lucky. We are one of only three Six Flags parks that are open past 9:00 on the weekdays in the summer. The only over parks that are open until 10:00 are SF Great America and SF Over Texas.

A Deluxe Season Dining Pass allows Six Flags Season Pass Holders to eat lunch, dinner and a snack at the park every time they visit — all for just one upfront payment. Each meal comes with one of several entrees ranging from cheeseburger and fries to hearty salads to pulled pork sandwiches and pizza.
According to the parks website Season Dining Pass holders get lunch, dinner, and a snack every visit. The way it reads, the snack is not a substitution for a meal.

I never rode it, but I have a soft spot for wooden coasters, and it is sad to see it go.

Did anyone see the EFX show at SFA? I wonder if they can put that in there...
Yes, I saw the show, Yes it would fit in the Showcase, should they put it in the Showcase Theatre, NO, it was a bad show with no point to it other than being in the air conditioning.
-
If they put it in the Simulator building, they can re-theme the upper Boardwalk area to the Justice League. We already have Superman and Green Lantern. Just rename the Parachutes and Twister. The games and tents area can still be called the boardwalk.
-
Along with a few flats, they need two small Backlot Stunt Coaster style coasters using the Chillers duel loading station. The new coasters do not have to race or launch at the same time.
-
Safari Kids does not really have a theme. If anything, they should combine it and make it part of the Seaport again.
-
^ If they put LOL in the Showcase, they might as well leave it empty. I don't usually walk out on shows, but I did at SFA during LOL.
This may be part of the reason why they wont open the Old Country, If the section was open, then they would actually have to spend money to have a indoor show.
-
Just got the OK to share--
The chiller building will be used for Condemned, and Big Top Terror has two locations being considered-- Superman bubble or the remainder space/back of the simulator building.
Which Chiller building, the station or the area formerly used for the Xploratorium?

The park listed some of the attractions and shows on their website. What ever happened to the Haunted Campout that was advertised on the entertainment schedule all year?
-
^Its actually a very nice waterpark. The flash pass is what messes it up. If you want to try a bad waterpark go to Dorney.
-
^Unless its a SkyRush style wing rider where there are seats in the middle too. Then it would not take that many, if any, more workers.
-
Keep Bizarro where it is and move Green Lantern to another park and make it floorless. Or keep Green Lantern at Great Adventure and make it a sit-down coaster that has a floor.
-
I've eaten at other parks and comparing, Great Adventures food is actually pretty good. Although some locations are better than others.
Other than good food, their service is faster than most. I was the only one in line to get chicken strips at Kings Dominion and it took 15 minutes.
-
You are very good at keeping a secrete. I understand why. You do not want to loose the good connection that you have with the park.
-
For a park chain that can barley keep their parks running properly, they should not be trying to open new parks, especially in other countries.
-
Are they still there? Maybe we still have hope.
Universal Installs Metal Detectors at Coasters
in Industry News

This may be the stupidest thing that I have ever seen a park do. I understand the metal detectors at the parks entrance, and they can be annoying at times. Most people obey the rules about not taking anything out while on a ride, although you do have your exceptions, but metal detectors are extreme. Guests safety as well as comfort should be a factor when determining park rules.
Imagine a slow day at Great Adventure and El Toro does not have a line, it will get very annoying going through a metal detector every time you want to ride it again. It will affect operations because you will not be able to ride the rides as many times as you should.
