Advertising their most popular event all year.

^^ I've had food at other parks like Kings Dominion and Six Flags America, and Great Adventures food seems really good. Actually, I never minded their food anyway. They seem to have a big variety.
-
I would vote for upcharge only if they still have smaller concerts for free.
-
Yes, they could do better. I cant complain because some parks, Hershey, do almost nothing for their passholders.
-
Why are they only letting gold pass holder in 10 min early? And on top of it, the rides aren't open. I went to Kings Dominion the last weekend with my platinum pass, and they let us in 30 min early and they had a few coasters open. Dorney and Cedar Point I believe give you a hour, Disney gives their guest an hour on certain days, and nights. Great Adventure needs to get with the program. The whole 10 minute thing is a joke and on top of it, the new gold season passes don't even mention they are gold passes.
SFGAdv basically allows pass holders to have the opportunity to be the first in line for the major rides. Kings Dominion opens a half hour early to everyone, but it is only three rides that they open. They let pass holders in 10 min early to the rest of the park. Dorney only opens certain rides a half hour early to pass holders on certain days. Cedar Point does give a hour, but that is only for Platinum pass holders. 10 minutes is better than nothing. Some parks don't open early at all, for anyone.

The brisket at Best of The West was included last year, but this year its a dollar more. I don't like all the up-charges throughout the park. Either include it or dont include it with the dining pass.

I was considering gong to the park on Monday, glad I didn't.

Those pictures.......especially the second one.

The thing that amazed me the most is how much New Jersey has to inspect.

I think the next rides/ attractions will be on the left side of the park. With Rolling Thunders removal and Zumanjaro's extremely long line area, I think that area will continue to be redeveloped. What new ride? I would have to guess a big wooden coaster because we just lost one and there are no RMC on the east coast.
Edit: 500th post

I never know where I'll end up, so I dont plan it out. Then I'm not disappointed if I dont get what i want. My first ride in 2013 was Runaway MineTrain, 2012 was Parachute Training Center, 2011 was Tango, 2010 was Bizarro.

Thank you, I'm glad it's not anything wrong with my pass.
I was staring to worry too. I was not looking forward to standing in a long line at guest services if the dining pass did not work.

^Ruin? I don't think it will effect crowds at all.
A lower ticket price will bring more people in.
-
If anyone is going to the park the 12th or 13th and does not have a season pass, or is going with people without a SP, use promo code '40years' online for tickets saving you $40.
Why do they always have to ruin opening day with deals like this.

I recieved a survey from Six Flags yesterday. It was about the appearance of employees. It asked about tattoos, bracelets, and highlights in hair. They are changing policies on these. I put at the end of the survey that all i'm concerned about is the line jumpers and security.
I don't care if a employee has weird colors in their hair, or tattoos. I've seen employees with their tattoos covered up and it looks worse than if it was not. Sometimes I seriously thought they got hurt or had a disease until i realized they were just covering a tattoo.

^ Thats what I was thinking. Every ride except the train and play structures are other places in the park.
I wonder if they plan on expanding the Safari Discoveries area because it does not seem like enough room for all of the monkeys that they have.
-
The Cedar Fair maps are not very proportional and half the rides on the map look nothing like the real ones. But I do like how their actual map is bigger.
Also, I don't care how the poster map looks, I just want a poster map back.

A couple of things I took note of that I did not know before. The dining pass logo is not next to Load it Up, unless that’s a mistake. The dining pass is now accepted at the Camp Kitchen in the National Park. There’s a new restaurant in the Boardwalk called Shore Eats and Treats.
I was hoping there would be a path connecting the Golden Kingdom together, but according to the map there is not. -
You can add Tenth Avenue North and Jamie Grace to the list. They will be at the park on June 7.

I like the simpleness of that design better than the pamphlet cover.

It's still far away, I wouldn't put much thought into a forecast that far into the future. Knowing the way weather forecasters are it will probably change at least a couple of times before opening day. Hopefully the weather will end up being nice!
I've seen the forecast change hours before. Its almost like they look out the window and realize they were wrong and change it.
-
At least open during the week in June, even if it has really short hours.
-
Unless they are not weatherproof, they should use some of the displays and figures around the Seaport to help with theming.
-
I was hoping that they would not have them. I hate using them at Busch Gardens because they never work right. I cant see them working right at Great Adventure. It might take longer than it did before.
Random GA stuff!
