^ Yes, exactly! I managed to get on Horizons once before its removal, and it was simply awesome. I love Test Track because of its simplicity, and although its okay to update these rides a little(interactive queue area in Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain) this ride doesn't look authentic anymore. It was the actual props and audio animatronics that made it great.

Hey I started this topic to see if any other Disney-goers knew more about this. When I took a trip to Disney World in May and found Test Track closed, I was disappointed (I thought it was a simple rehab.) But when I learned the details of its makeover I was actually a little angry. If you check here you can read about what's in store. While I agree with the idea of updating a ride, doesn't this seem a little over the top? The whole ride seems to basically just say "COMPUTERS!" and it just looks like Tron with cars. While Disney has improved many of my favorites, I think they're taking this too far.

SkyWay is still labeled as Sky Ride in some places.

It was very photogenic. Oddly, one of the sound guys changed his pants in the booth right before the show...

I just hope they place the new entrance in a smart location... Like next to Ka or behind Rolling Thunder. Even next to the gift shop could be a stretch. Or basically, not in the parking lot.

^ I agree. Its my favorite of the series but the pacing is completelly off untill Luke leaves for cloud city.

I miss this ride. In my opinion it was worth keeping around, especially now.

I want to see Lt. Dan just to see what they're like.

I remember the House of Horrors. That was pretty unique and I wish we had that in Florida!

The one thing I enjoyed about Knott's is the unique selection of food. They had all kinds of jelly (and pickles I believe) just in the park!

I can't recall what the food was like before, but I actually forgot it was another Chinese restaraunt.
