The ferociously friendly felines of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom are moving, and they're bringing two new cubs along! Odin's Temple of the Tiger is a brand new exhibit coming to the park in Spring 2009.

Odin's Temple of the Tiger will serve as an expanded home for the park's tigers, as well as a featured showcase for Odin, the park's popular male white Bengal tiger, renowned for his agility underwater, and Fedor, a four-year-old male Siberian tiger.

The attraction will also feature two recently acquired tiger cubs, a white Bengal male and a female Bengal tiger, that are currently being hand raised. The pair will be introduced to the public in the coming months.

Odin's Temple of the Tiger will be housed in the former Jungle Theater and will be redesigned to create a more expansive site for the cats. There will also be additional arena seating for enhanced viewing. A new pool with an underwater viewing window will be the primary focal point of the stage that during off-show hours will provide an outdoor exhibit area for the park's 11 tigers.

Guests will have several opportunities throughout the day to visit Odin's Temple of the Tiger and experience the strength and beauty of these animals up close. Multiple shows will take place each day and during off-show hours the theater will serve as an outdoor exhibit for all the park's tigers.

You'll also be able to view tigers — including the new tiger cubs — relaxing or playing on a grassy observation yard. A second off-exhibit exercise yard will allow staff to rotate tigers from their individual backstage enclosures throughout each day.

Don't miss this brand new exhibit when it debuts in Spring 2009.
