grounds75 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 The first Senior night was May of 1975. The park reopened at 11:00PM for those who had tickets and went all night till 8:00AM. New Rides was just built and everything was open and running all night. I wish I was able to do that - I hope by some miracle they decide to do it when I'ma senior .... being in the park all night sounds like it would be crazy. But kids would be too rowdy, and I doubt there would be any staff members up for doing that... or at least, enough to run all the rides. The latest I've ever been at the park was 1 am riding Nitro during an employee event. It was certainly something everyone who loves coasters at night should experience.
