Weird NJ Amusement Parks

Fairy Tale Forest (1957) and The Gingerbread Castle (1930) were my two favorite places as a small child. Some time in the early 80's, Fairy Tale Forest changed hands for the first of many times; the majority of the land is now storage units. The Gingerbread Castle closed for the first time around 1976-78. New owners attempted to reopen it in 1988, but it didn't last very long...

Both parks had small train rides. Fairytale Forest also had a few small flats: a carousel, fire engines and kiddie swings...
