Yankees99 Posted April 16, 2011 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 Once again for you old-timers, do any of you remember when GA served host to the show "Soap Factory?" They had some popular acts of the mid to late 70s perform there and dance up and down Dream Street. Pretty sure that happened in 1979. That year, I went to GA in July and recall them lightly promoting it. Now, even better, was anybody at GA in late August 1982 when NYC classic rock radio station WPLG came down to GA and passed out Bruce Springsteen bumper stickers somewhere between the edge of the parking lot to the front entrance? It was geared to promote The Nebraska Tour. I remember the place being packed to the rafters and we must have gotten about 10 of those stickers.
