29yrswithaGApass
So I have often wondered.... If a Kingda Ka train full of riders all wore a hoodie sweatshirt and lifted that open hood above their heads during the launch of the ride, would there be enough drag (similar to 18 small parachutes) on the train to cause a rollback? I've never thought of that! That would be awesome! HAHAHAHAHA!

ChuckR
It's funny, because when I wore a hoodie to the park I would force my hood open the entire launch. But, I've had no luck.
gasmspiritblue
It's funny, because when I wore a hoodie to the park I would force my hood open the entire launch. But, I've had no luck. HAHAHA LOL That would happen because it is hard to move on the launch pad so it would be hard to reposition the hood e!!! TOPGUN1993
I've heard TTD's launch is based off the weight of the previous train to predict the speed the next train needs to launch. Not sure if this is really what happens.
eric2
maybe because your train is lauching at speeds of 128 mph and there is the possablity and there could be a rollback
The Master
The park usually makes everyone keep their hoods down on KK. Besides that the force of the air will knock them right down.
