BigMak
hi. I have a few questions. My son is 18 months old. I am considering purchasing a yearly pass for my wife and myself. Are there a decent number of rides for my child? looking at the website, I can't really get a feel if there is much for him. also, where would i leqve the stroller when n a ride? especiall for those such as the safari or skyride? thank you
29yrswithaGApass
Welcome to the site! One thing Great Adventure is not short on is rides for kids! There are three separate themed areas for kids: Bugs Bunny National Park which has: - ferris wheel - horsey ride - airplane ride - hot air balloon ride - himalaya ride - carousel Safari Kids with: - cars ride - kiddie drop tower - spinning balloons - airplane ride - scrambler - lady bugs ride and Looney Tunes Seaport: - swings - roller coaster - vertical plane ride - teacups - submarine ride Adults can ride with their children on almost all these. You can see more information on these rides on or Children's Rides page HERE. Just make sure you look at the rides that still are in the park - it will say xxxx-TODAY on the lefthand column. As far as your stroller, it is not allowed on the Safari - there is a parking lot by the queue. It can be taken on the Skyride. If it doesn't fit in your cabin it will be placed in the car before the one you are riding. Hope you have a great trip!
BigMak
Thank you for the quick response. Would the safari be appropriate for his age? I see their website has this listed as moderate thrill and not mild
29yrswithaGApass
The ride is pretty rough at times and requires each guest to wear a seat belt. While I am sure he would love seeing the animals, my only concern would be keeping him upright in the seat as I am almost certain he can't ride on your lap. BigMak
Thanks again. With that piece of information, it sounds like we wouldn't be able to see the new safari. I was actually looking forward to that the most.
