RC98
How did you get in the park at this time in the offseason? It looks rather odd seeing the park snow-covered and empty.
gasmspiritblue
Wow the thunder area actually looks nice, they diddnt rip down trees like i thought they would, what are they going to use thunders train shed for, storage? Yoshi
Great pictures. It was cool to see the park in the snow and even knowing that Rolling Thunder is gone, it seemed strange to see just trees and empty space where the ride was since the ride has been there as long as I have been going to the park. Yankees99
Great pictures. Very strange not seeing Rolling Thunder around anymore. By the way, it's about 80 degrees here in sunny Southern California.
29yrswithaGApass
^ La la la la la.. I can't hear you. It is interesting that Rolling Thunder's sign portal and queue bars were left in place. Hmmm.
jdc12192
Hm, the rolling thunder area doesn't seem as bare as i thought it would be however it is still weird not seeing it there. ^ La la la la la.. I can't hear you. It is interesting that Rolling Thunder's sign portal and queue bars were left in place. Hmmm. I hope this isn't hinting that this will be the start of the queue for Zumanjaro. It would be way out of place and i feel like would ruin the chances of future development in the RT area if a queue was stuck going through it to Ka/ZDOD. 29yrswithaGApass
The snow really did a job on Fender Benders. Luckily all the missing panels have been rescued and will be reinstalled .
Guest Moonracker7
Fender Benders was the first ride I rode at great Adventure, well, it looks like we may get another ride this season, hope its something to do with the "music express" people you found. El Toro's twister section looks just stupid without something to hide it, that's what I liked the most about the rides interaction unlike UT and Viper. RC98
IMO those queue bars are being left for a new 2015 coaster but we'll see. I guess it will look odd just sitting there unused for this season.
Yoshi
Not for Zumanjaro! I'm glad it's not being used for Zumanjaro. I think that could have overtake Superman for longest queue in the park by the time they built a queue back to the actual ride area.
The Master
It is sad not to see RT there.
jdc12192
Do some footers being left have to do with the queue and exit being left?
29yrswithaGApass
^I don't know the answer, but I think maybe the footers that are needed are at the base of the tower at the bottom of the drop shafts.
Ogolo
At the top of the trip report it mentions "Zumanjaro photos coming soon." It would be interested to see what they were up to during your visit. Unless there are reasons you can't share them.

Probably just a closer look and maybe some bonus shots of some things we haven't seen yet.

Obviously the park likes to time the release of materials to the media and public according to their schedule. Even though sometimes I have news or photos ahead of others I work with their schedule when it comes to green-lighting publishing inside things here. It is a system that works! Ogolo
I figured that was the case. Since it was mentioned how big the drop carriers were at ground level I thought there "might" be some photos. You will never see them on the ground ever again. Just curious.
SORA
Can you please tell me how you get in on off season please tell me
Password121
Not for Zumanjaro! By any chance, will Looping Dragon's entrance/queue be near that of Rolling Thunder's former entrance? The concept art makes it seem as this may be the case.
29yrswithaGApass
I just realized these photos of Zumanjaro's construction were never posted. Below are some samples and click HERE to view more.
KK456
Nice! I noticed a while back that there were virtually no photos of construction. This is really cool!
