29yrswithaGApass
We have added another GreatAdventure commercial to our gallery. The year was 1996 and Time Warner owned and operated Six Flags. New for that year were Skull Mountain and the Lethal Weapon Water Stunt Spectacular. The "news desk" style commerical ran for a full 60 seconds and aired in the Sping of '96. Click the photo below to view the commerical! JetsDevs4Lyf
Pretty cool and to be honest the news desk style of advertisement was certainly a different way to go. I still prefer some of the more "intense" commercials like that for The Chiller and some other rides that have been new. Still though nice to see as I remember Skull Mountain opening, but don't reemmber this advertising for it.
The Master
I remember the Lethal Weapon Stunt Show, they did have a neat tank prop and the big 2D yacht in the lake for it. I wonder where that tank is now?
29yrswithaGApass
I wonder where that tank is now? The tank is now a target in Rapid Fire Paint Ball!
JetsDevs4Lyf
Interesting use of an old prop. I haven't touched that paintball thing in a while so I would never have guessed to check there lol
CycloneMan
I wonder if anybody called that number after seeing it posted here...?
