Announce the Renewal of the Wii Experience Attraction and New In-Park Nintendo DS Street Teams Tuesday April 1, 10:35 am ET NEW YORK, April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Six Flags (NYSE: SIX - News) announced today plans to renew its partnership with Nintendo for the 2008 season. As part of the agreement, Six Flags will feature and operate the Wii Experience in 10 of its theme parks across the country. Each Wii Experience will house 10 consoles and be operational April 5 - November 2. New for 2008 -- Nintendo DS Street Teams. These 4-person teams will interact with guests, allowing them to sample the portable Nintendo DS video game system while in ride lines and high traffic areas of the parks. Additionally, guests will be exposed to the Wii Experience through advertising support on sixflags.com, park maps, pole banners and in-park signage. JetsDevs4Lyf Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 In all honesty the Wii experience was an interesting concept. And having played a Nintendo DS before i can say interacting with them while on a line would be entertaining although since there are younger kids on lines I am sure I will not get the chance to do so.
