Thrilling the Senses

Everyone has their "favorites" at GA. As we come out of winter hibernation and kick off the new season at Great Adventure, what are you looking forward to the most?

 

Here are my Five Senses Favorites:

 

SIGHT: Viewing the park from atop the Giant Wheel.

SOUND: Hearing the Skyride cars coming in and out of the Fort.

TASTE: A grilled hamburger at the Best of the West BBQ.

SMELL: It use to be the smell of the AC in the Super Teepee but that is sort of an open-air venue this year. I will have to go with standing on the Log Flume bridge and the smell of the smoke coming from the BOTWBBQ

TOUCH/FEELING: NItro's drop is a great feeling but just the feeling of excitement exploring the park is my favorite!

My Five Sense Favorites would have to be:

 

Sight: View from the skyride as we traverse the park.

Sound: Screams from coasters as we wait in line.

Taste: Butterfly Fries from the Boardwalk

Smell: Nathan's as we enter the boardwalk

Feeling: Getting soaked on the Log Flume/ Congo Rapids

SIGHT: A view of the lake by going over GASM's lift, and from Best Of The West

SOUND: Hearng the roar of Batman and the up-stop wheels on El Toro

TASTE: Butterfly Fries

SMELL: The wood from El Toro and Rolling Thunder

TOUCH/FEELING: El Toro's first drop.

Today!

 

Sight: Probably the view from on top of Kingda Ka!

Sound: Like Danian, hearing those wheels a-rollin' on El Toro

Taste: Flags Famous Chicken Strips!

Smell: The Fresh and somewhat chlorinated smell of the main fountain

Touch/Feeling: All those intense drops and loops, especially the initial tilt on Superman in which you enter the flight position!
