For 2016 season, Six Flags to hire 4,000 employees

Looking for a place that's as thrilling to work at as it is to visit? Look no further than Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. Seeking to hire 4,000 employees for the 2016 season, the world's largest theme park, which is opening its employment center Feb. 1, will host two job fairs on Feb. 6 and 13.

 

In addition, Six Flags Great Adventure will debut its 14th roller coaster, The Joker, and the new Caribbean Cove water play area in Hurricane Harbor. Both will be open for the 2016 season.

The park will host two job fairs Feb. 6 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and open entertainment auditions Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. Before attending, new applicants must visit sixflagsjobs.com to complete an online application.

 

Six Flags is looking for enthusiastic candidates of all ages and backgrounds, and has seasonal positions available in retail, games, park services, ride operations, culinary services, admissions, guest relations/VIP services, market research, loss prevention, security, landscaping, safari guides, lifeguards, entertainment performers and show technical support, accounting, cash control, corporate alliance brand ambassadors and human resources.

Applicants can enter via the Employment Entrance, located approximately one mile west of the main park entrance.

 

Entertainment auditions will be held at the Showcase Theater Feb. 13 beginning at 2 p.m. for actors, dancers, show hosts, and specialty performers, such as stilt walkers, jugglers and magicians at Six Flags Great Adventure, located at 1 Six Flags Blvd. in Jackson. Candidates can enter via the Employment Entrance, located approximately one mile west of the main park entrance, and then follow signs to the theater.

 

The 2016 season Six Flags Great Adventure kicks off March 23 and runs on a varied schedule through the summer, Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park, which ends Jan. 1, 2017. More information is available at sixflags.com.

What kind of jobs does the Safari have?

 

I know for a fact they're hiring guides and probably drivers(21+ and need certain credentials) Not sure if they're hiring for animal care/training/educator type jobs. They might have internships open as well.
