Got to the park around 10:40 with my Father and 5 year old Nephew. Alot of School Trips and the Security Entry was Packed, took us about 15-20 minutes, no line at the ticket booth to get my Father a ticket, used the 14.99 bring a friend deal, proceeded to entry gate with no lines. Tweety and Sylvester were near the fountain, went on the Big Wheel first with a one cycle wait and they started loading 4 cars at a time, next was Hall of Justice Shop to take advantage of the Season pass deals, next we went to Jumpin Joey and my Nephew got 3 straight rides without getting off, next was Safari Tours, after that we crossed the bridge to Road Runner Railway Coaster, we got on twice, next was Taz Tornado Swings, then Air Safari, Bugaboo, Raja's Rickshaws and then on to the Jolly Roger. The Sky Ride was closed due to wind so we had to walk over to Best of the West(chicken tenders, pulled pork and fries were great, the burger was like rubber) AfterLunch we went to Bugs Bunny National Park and went on Daffys Hot Air Balloons, Bugs Bunny Camp Carousel, Foghorn Leghorns Stagecoach, Wile E Coyote Canyon Blaster(the girl operator really was great, interacting with the guests, making sound effects and playing games, we went a few weeks ago and I think she was working the Porkys Wagons) next was Porky Pig's Camp Wagons, Bugs Bunny Ranger Piolts. We finished with a game and the Carousel. Had a great trip, the following rides were closed: Sky Ride, Sky Screamer, Skull Mountain, Bugs Bunny Barnstormer, Houdinis Great Escape and The Parachutes.

Nice report!

Had a great trip, the following rides were closed: Sky Ride, Sky Screamer, Skull Mountain, Bugs Bunny Barnstormer, Houdinis Great Escape and The Parachutes.

This makes me nervous. We've seen a lot of steps backward toward the Premier era as new management has tried to squeeze every bit of profit out of the park, and having mid-range, family-friendly, non-marquee rides like these closed comes right out of the same playbook as cutting down on security, characters, or bathroom upkeep. It sounds like a few of these had to do with wind, but not all of them. Here's hoping they were technical difficulties or flukes and not an indication of a larger strategy.
