Six Flags Great Adventure Announces July Events

July 4th Fest - July 2, 3 & 4

 

Six Flags Great Adventure and Coca-Cola® team up to celebrate Independence Day July 2 through July 4. Guests can enjoy some of the top thrill rides in the world, listen to live music and be dazzled by firework displays each night at 10 p.m. Visitors can present a can of Coca-Cola® to enjoy exclusive ride time on some of the park’s most popular coasters one hour before opening each day. On July 2, Six Flags Great Adventure partners with the USO to honor service men and women at 10:30 a.m. on July 2. USO volunteers will be on hand throughout the day at the Coke Zone tent where guests can send words of appreciation to men and women actively serving in the military as part of the USO’s Campaign to Connect.

Celebration with Jeremy Camp - July 2 (Rescheduled from May 21)

 

Six Flags Great Adventure will host its Celebration Concert featuring Jeremy Camp July 2 at 5 p.m. in the Plymouth Rock Assurance® Arena. The concert is included with theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership and is part of the MIKE AND IKE® ZOURS® Summer Concert Series. Camp is a contemporary Christian artist from Indiana with 175 weeks atop the charts. He has released 11 albums producing hit singles "My God," "Come Alive," "He Knows" and "Same Power."

Zion & Lennox in Concert – July 3

 

Reggaeton duo Zion & Lennox will take the stage at Six Flags Great Adventure's Plymouth Rock Assurance® Arena July 3. The concert is included with theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership and begins at 7 p.m. Zion and Lennox are from Puerto Rico and have over 65 hit singles including "Doncella," "Bandida," "Yo Voy" and most recently, "Embriagame."

 

Caribbean Cove Grand Opening at Hurricane Harbor – July 14

Hurricane Harbor, the Northeast’s No. 1 water park, will celebrate the grand opening of Caribbean Cove water play area July 14. This addition boasts 55 interactive features including spray jets, water guns, an action slide and a giant dumping bucket, plus the addition of a beach area with 300 new lounge chairs. Hurricane Harbor is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Six Flags Job Fair – July 17

Six Flags Great Adventure will host a job fair Sunday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with on-the-spot interviews in the Employment Center. The world’s largest theme park is hiring smiling faces for four seasons of thrills. Positions are available from the summer through fall’s Fright Fest and winter’s Holiday in the Park, which ends January 1, 2017. Team members can work where they love to play, plus have the opportunity to make great friends, earn competitive wages, free tickets for friends and perks throughout the park. Applicants should complete the pre-employment application at www.sixflagsjobs.com prior to visiting the Employment Center. Those needing assistance or without internet access can complete the application onsite.

 

Fright Fest Dance Auditions – July 22 & 23

Great Adventure’s iconic Fright Fest show “Dead Man’s Party” is looking for exceptional dancers trained in jazz, musical theater, hip-hop and partnering. Auditions will take place in the park’s Showcase Theater Friday July 22 at 7 p.m. and Saturday July 23 at 1 p.m. Dancers should arrive ready to learn ghoulish choreography in small groups, followed by a freestyle portion. Interested dancers can apply at www.sixflagsjobs.com before attending the auditions and enter through the employee entrance on Route 537.

Central Jersey Blood Center Blood Drive – July 24

 

The Central Jersey Blood Center will host a blood drive at Six Flags Great Adventure's Employment Center from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. Each donor will receive one theme park ticket valid for Six Flags Great Adventure. Blood supplies are typically low in the summer months and one donation can save up to three lives. Guests are encouraged to pre-register by calling 1-888-71-BLOOD or online at sixflags.com/greatadventure under the “events” tab.

Fright Fest Zombie Auditions – July 29

Six Flags Great Adventure is seeking individuals with a passion for Halloween – and scaring - as casting for the 2016 Fright Fest season begins Friday, July 29 at 6 p.m. in the Employment Center. Interested zombies, ghouls and goblins are encouraged to apply at www.sixflagsjobs.com prior to the audition and should come prepared to participate in fun group exercises in front of a panel of judges. No costumes, props or previous experience is required.
