TylerRRC1972
On Sunday July 24th we left for a 6 night trip. On Sunday we left Sayreville, NJ and traveled to Springfield, MA, after eating Lunch and checking in, we went to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The HOF was very nice, but has nothing on the Baseball Hall of Fame. Next we went to the Dr. Seuss Sculpture Exiibit and Gardens, this was very nice, just not in a great neighborhood. I wanted to make it over the Six Flags New England but was over ruled, oh well, will have to wait a year or two. On Monday Morning we Left and went to Deerfield, MA to Yankee Candle Village, this place is hugh and has everything, my nephew was able to have his hand waxed and made a candle, colored four candles, he also saw Mrs. Claus. This Place is very nice but a little pricy, We then traveled up through Vermont and into New Hampshire, we stopped at the Schilling Brewing Company in Littleton, NH and had Dinner, this is a very nice place and the Beer Cheese Dip for the Pretzle Sticks is amazing, the pizza is very good to. Next we headed to our hotel up the street from Santa's Village in Jefferson, NH, it was called the Lantren Inn and was nice. On Tuesday we went into Santa's Village when they opened at 9:30, my nephew loved the Elfabet Game, he had to find 26 elves and have his card punched, he got them all and got a keychain and a diploma. We went to The Great Humbug Adventure, we got on just in time, as the ride was packed the rest of the day, I really liked this, better the Hershey's Extreme Cup Challenge. Next was Little Elf Flying School and then The Christmas Ferris Wheel, The view from the Top is amazing, all you see is Mountains. After this we headed to The Skyway Sleigh Monorail which is a nice little ride, The Little Drummer Boy(My Nephew really likes to spin these now), we went over to the new Roller Coaster(Poogee's Penguin Spin Coaster) but the line was very long and my nephew didn't want to wait, next was the Yule Log Flume, we did it three times and you really get soaked, liked it better the Great Adventure's, Hershey's and Story Land. We now did the Giant Snowman, Nativity, Book Shop and Snowball Mall with a ride on the Chimney Drop. We stopped for lunch at Dasher's Delights, very nice food. After Lunch we went to Pixie Mix, Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree, Rudy's Rapid Transit Coaster( This was a really nice Jr. Coaster that seemed a lot faster then the posted speed), next was Red Hot Racers, Hot Shots Fire Brigade and The Reindeer Carousel, we picked up some treats and left for North Conway, NH. I really liked Santa's Village, wish it was coaster, it was super clean and looked like rides are painted every year, the staff are super nice. Matt Kaiser
I was also in NH last weekend (family reunion), and then Maine. Couldn't get to any parks, though. This was one of the parks I tried convincing my family to stop at.
29yrswithaGApass
Great report! I love the Christmas themed rides. This ride must have been manufactured by Chance Rides. It looks like a kiddie version of Great Adventure's Super Sidewinder!

Also Went to Storyland and Edaville, but I like Santa's Village the most.
29yrswithaGApass
When I went to Holiday World back in 2007 I was disappointed in their Christmas section. It was so underwhelming that we didn't even realize we passed through it as it is their first section of the park. Their other sections were so much better executed. Santa's Village looks so much nicer.
