New recycling bins throughout the park for 2008 feature this logo: While as early as the late 80s/early 90s GA was in recycling mode: And long before the current run of "Recycle This!"...... The Showcase Theatre featured a stage show by the same name about the environment in 1990! Great Adventure......... ahead of its time! It is nice to see the park continuing a tradition like this, especially when so many places have gotten away from the recycling as though it was a trend for them for a while. What would be really cool would be if the company had a contest to see which park could recycle the most during the common operating season (spring through Fright Fest) and then award that park somehow for the idea. It would be a good way for people to show pride in their park by being sure to be responsible, while also strengthening their green program.
