Six Flags Celebrates Love for its Furry, Feathered

and Flippered Friends this Valentine’s Day

JACKSON, N.J. ─ February 6, 2017 ─ For the Animal Care Team at Six Flags Great Adventure, every day is like Valentine’s Day as team members show their love for the scaled, furry, feathered and flippered friends they nurture. Through hurricanes, blizzards and heat waves, the Six Flags Animal Care Team knows that “the animals depend on us 365 days a year, regardless of the weather,” according to Dr. Bill Rives, safari director.

Six Flags Great Adventure has focused on animal education and conservation for more than 40 years. The 510-acre Jackson theme park and safari features 1,200 animals representing more than 80 different species from six continents. The park opens for the 2017 season April 1.
