Mrpq
How far in advance will the park give notice they are not opening due to bad weather? I ask since I am registered for a car show at the park Sunday and the weather isn't looking to good. Seems the event will be canceled if the park says they are staying closed due to weather. Issue is we are supposed to be there between 6am and 9am and I rather save myself the drive if the park is announcing they are closed
Matt Kaiser
The park always* opens, then closes later in the day if attendance is low. They very rarely announce beforehand that they won't open, except for like Hurricanes. They may cancel the event in advance, though. That's probably more up to the event sponsor. dougdrummer
I can't believe it is 59 degrees and raining on the 30th of May. Usually around Memorial Day it is 90+ degrees around here....

Most people just then say "due to rain". That's why the park tends to close more "due to rain" in the Spring--park is less crowded to begin with. Yoshi
Yeah I'd rather have an extra week or two of cooler temperatures and have to wait a little more time to get to a waterpark than have the heat and humidity now.
dougdrummer
Dont rush the 90's they will be here soon enough. NJ really doesn't have a typical spring. It goes from 50's to 90's in the blink of an eye. That's why I don't buy a convertible car - there are few days to enjoy mild weather with the top down.
