29yrswithaGApass
Coasters After Dark was a lot of fun! The crowds were small, the lines were short, and the weather was rain-free! Below are some photos from tonight. These and others can be found in my visits album by clicking HERE. Soon Hurricane Harbor will be open! The flowers are in bloom throughout the entrance mall. Festive bunting adorns the entrance gates. The Dark Knight box can be seen from the front gates. The Dark Knight's sign is up while the Chiller sign is down! Chiller's sign can now be seen in the boneyard from Nitro's lift. The entrance is almost complete. The landscaping around The Dark Knight is really coming together nicely. Finally some green to breakup the concrete filled Movietown. The ride photo booth sign is up too. An overall view of The Dark Knight Coaster. The Showcase Theatre looks better than ever now. Too bad few people get to see it. With so many school kids in the park, the Air Force was in recruiting mode. The Dark Knight to the left- Fly Me to the Moon to the right- and double restrooms straight ahead! Bright new umbrellas at the HBO Commissary. New Batman ride meet the old Batman ride. Congo Rapids is now sponsored by Lunchables. New Six Flags Friends Fountains for Foundations signs have been added. The new lights really illuminate the Western Bridge. JetsDevs4Lyf
Nice pictures Harry. I figured when I spotted you sans camera this evening you may have taken a day off from the photography but I suppose I should have known better. I believe if I am not mistaken the Lunchables is actually running some sort of promotion with discounted park tickets for kids who purchase their products right now so it isn't too surprising that they would also be sponsoring rides within the park at this point. We didn't get a chance to see The Dark Knight until later in the evening due to our late arrival, but the sign was something that we noticed right away when walking towards Batman: The Ride and the new building. The front entrance rally does look nice at this point.
29yrswithaGApass
^ I had my smaller Canon with me yesterday so I could travel light! It was probably in my pocket at the time.
JetsDevs4Lyf
I tell you what the park really looked awesome from the Big Wheel last night. With the fact that from a distance there was the slightest bit of haze that was visible around any source of lighting, the luminescense from all the rides lit up made it look great.
