29yrswithaGApass Posted May 11, 2008 Report Share Posted May 11, 2008 With a slight change of schedules, I was able to stop at the park for a couple of hours tonight to catch what was new. The park is looking great - clean, wonderfully landscaped, friendly employees, and all the rides up and running! Here are a few quick photos. More canvas canopies have been installed at Hurricane Harbor. The Dark Knight Coaster's exterior is starting to receive its decorative mural as well as the framework for the queue's shade structure. Over 200 green garbage cans mark the route for the Glow in the Park parade. It looks like ropes will be added during the parade times. Terrific new topiaries have been addedd in the Golden Kingdom and Looney Tunes National Park. And the Wizards and Dragons black light miniature golf course has opened.
