Thoughts?

Personally, I think it could mean one of two things:

1st: it could be an announcement for Jersey Devil continuing construction. The riddle says “We will spread some cheer about a new addition here” and DIRE unscrambled could mean ride. Jersey Devil is a new addition coming to the park, so maybe the announcement could be that Jersey Devil Coaster is continuing vertical construction again!

2nd: Holiday in the Park will have a new ride open for the event! The riddle as a whole is very holiday themed, and the scramble mentions “a new addition”, which could be a new ride open for the event (Such as Bizarro or Runaway Mine Train)!

^The highlighted letters are T, H, U, and V in the 2nd post. In the first post they were D, R, I, and E.

All together they spell "Drive Thru"...

Holiday Lights comeback?

That would make the most sense as well as a wise hedge against any possible early park closure.
