Intamin should be able to convert the parachute tower to an observation one-though I still miss the parachutes.

There are royalty-free music sites out there for amusement parks. I don't think it's too expensive {at least compared to well known songs }and they have lots of style for Great Adv.to choose from:country for Frontier Adventures,mariachi for Plaza De Carnival,and Middle Eastern for Golden Kingdom.

Preferably the simulator building gets another 4D theater since the park is short on shows;if not I would like another dark ride in it.

Hopefully with the Cedar Fair merger a hotel will come in the near future.

Is there any chance of the tiger shows coming back?I loved that experience.

Is there still any chance they will replace the "lost drop"?

My home park is SFA.Even though it sometimes gets dumped on,it still manages to have a show or two during the season.It definitely helps to offer something other than rides.

I wouldn't mind the park(s) being open until midnight during the summer!

Maybe Great Adv. will surprise us and bring back the "lost dip" on the log flume.

I'm surprised and amazed that my home park of SFA is finally getting a new flat ride(that last time anything like that was back when Thomas Town was built) and doing something about ME. By the way-technically SFA is turning 50 next year too: back in 1974 it was called the Wildlife Preserve.

I guess I slightly misremembered it-I did happen to go to Great Adv. multiple times at the beginning of the century......

My first time at Great Adv. was in Sept. 1999,when Houdini was new.IIRC Marjorie was always part of it.the props were always in the main ride area,and there was nothing I remember about Houdini sounding scary or evil.

The parachute tower should be converted to a lighthouse-themed observation tower and S:UF & GL given aquatic/nautical themes.

My 2 cents is that Disney is simply trying to make more money off an existing movie(s);I mean-when WB bought SF, weren't they going to rename Freefall as "Sharkey's Machine"? By the way-I wish that arcades would bring back the Discs Of Tron game(especially the stand-inside/ enviromental style ones).

I've got plenty of ideas for the 50th anniversary!Here are my main ideas: 1-take out the go-karts and Dare Devil Dive and replace with an antique car ride. 2-flat rides galore! Namely a Larson Flying Scooters and Tilt-a-whirl, and a Huss 2nd Gen Condor,2nd Gen Enterprise, and Air Boat rides. 3-a musical/dancing fountain set-up for the lake. 4-shows all year for the Showcase theater, even if they have to "out-source" them. 5-get rid of the paintball building! Honorable mentions: getting a brand new ferris wheel(or at least fixing the one they got) and gettting new trains for Green Lantern; by that I mean the new-style stand-up trains Sea World is getting or regular sit-down trains. Also, IIRC HH turns 25 in 2024,so they get a Mack Power Splash and a Vekoma Family Splash Suspended Coaster.

A slightly cheaper way would be to use "royalty free" music:I think there's just a basic license fee involved(but don't quote me on that).The good part is that most "royalty free" companies have huge playlists in categories suited for theme parks:country and mariachi for Frontier Adventures,epic soundtracks for Movietown,etc. .

My first time at Great Adv, was in 1999,so I never got to see the TVs operational.I spent a few years wondering exactly what those "boxes" were around the park before some one said they were old TVs.With the technology available now maybe SF could do a bigger,better version of the TV channel.

How about for 2024 we get 3 things:1-remove the paintball building 2-new lights for the Big Wheel 3-MORE TREES!!!

Maybe Great Adv. could follow SFFT's lead and get a bunch of those new-fangled junior-sized thrill slides for the kid's area.

I think Six Flags should try to get permission from Warner Bros to use movie names and characters for films for new simulators chain-wide.Basically the simulator movies would be based on movie series like "lethal Weapon","Police Academy" and "Vacation" and have look-alikes do most of the acting.Six Flags could go as far as make at least 3 movies for each title:the first one would be used for most of the season,the second would be only for Fright Fest,and the third would only be shown during HITP. I know that's alot to ask for,but building all those Justice League shoot-'em-ups seemed to pay off.

I could be wrong,but I heard somewhere that some companies like Ticketmaster and Live Nation try to bully promoters and performers into dealing only with them-making it harder for independent or small outlets to stay in business,which is why the outdoor pavillions at theme parks (like the Great Arena) did good business back in the 1970's & 80's but now sit unused.

I would rather see the Big Wheel stay since it's an original attraction,but they could always get a new one the same size or larger with air conditioned cabins and LED lights.

I never played Black Knight 2000;I however was a fan of the original game with its multi-level field.Great Adv. should build a "retro arcade" jam-packed with old school games-especially if they get a Cyclone pinball game.

Back during it's Wild World days,SFA had a Cinema 180;the weird thing was it wasn't actually 180-it was more like 90/100,and everyone had to stand.The films shown were very similar to the above video-basically POV footage of coasters and race cars/motrcycles.Sometimes they would throw in a "slow" segment: one movie had footage taken by a helicopter as it flew over Mt. St. Helens about a week after it erupted.

I remember the ones by Dino Island.For a while there were also some palms by Jenkinson's Pier.
