  1. Paying extra for FrightFest in general is pointless. However,if they were charging extra for special attractions-like they did with Brutal Planet 10 years ago-that's a different story.Having a special "upcharge attraction" with tons of good effects and lots of in-your-face actors/stuntpeople might generate revenue and publicity for the park.
  2. I think Intamin could do just that:the Parachutes tower pulls "double duty"-the parachutes part stays for the kids, but the "drop tower" is built along the main spine(basically Intamin could put 4-seater sections along the tower). And how about a topple tower in Giant Teepee's old spot and a suspended flying carpet from Zierer?
  3. I know they fenced in the monkey area for a reason, but I think the Safari area would be better if visitors got to ride open-air vehicles. And speaking of the monkeys, how about if the Safari put the monkeys in a special walk-thru section, like The Monkey Jungle in Miami? There the visitors got to go thru chain-link "tunnels" while the spider&squirrel monkeys climbed around you and reached for food(which was sold by the park specifically for those animals). And the Miami Metrozoo had an amazing Gorilla exhibit:part of it was a man-made "cave" that visitors could go into and get a close-up look at the Gorillas thru plate glass. How about something like that at Great Adv.?
  4. Obviously you never rode Two-Face!!!Admittedly Vekomas aren't as perfect as B&M or Intamin, but Two-Face certainly felt like a B&M compared to Mind Eraser!!!!
  5. I say Scream Machine was the bigger loss, mostly because I think Great Adv. could've done better as far as Motion Simulators go.
  6. I'm all for them using the Jersey Devil as an inspiration for a coaster:how about a custom 10-loop Vekoma launched coaster?-like R-N-R Coaster but bigger and badder?Vekoma-for-a while-advertised such a thing on thier website...
  7. Did you get any of these pictures from one of Coaster Celebration's tours?
  8. My first coaster at Great Adv. was Scream Machine, during my first-ever Coaster Celebration in Sept.1999.I remember coming into the parking lot and seeing GASM looming there, and I said to myself,"I'll start with that one!".
  9. I would love the chance to get on Lightning Loops and UltraTwister, since I only got to see them rot at SFA.Of the rides I HAVE been on,I would take one(and only one)last ride on Viper, followed by Freefall and the Batman side of Chiller before the restraint change.
