    the April 5th date was a typo on that press release, i hit up my contact at the park the other day and she told me the 12th is the correct date and it wont be changed

    ya my phone you couldnt make out anything, i think getting a good shot from prospertown lake is worth a try if im in the area , also the parks opening date is April 12, i confirmed it with the pr people today..

    so know i wonder if the park is opening on the 5th or the 12th? I just got a preview of the operating schedule also and the park will be open in nov! howerver there are a few quirky time changes....

    depending on todays weather, hey may or may not be up in the air, wind, rain wont alow them to do any type of high lifts, and tomorrow with the extreme cold im not sure if they will work up in the air

    tower modification has started, saw the cranes and boom lifts out there on tuesday, i didnt have a good enough camrea to get a pic of it since its so far back, but once snow clears up ill head out with one.

    only thing with putting it on the rt site is that side of the park is stacked, movietown should be the focus for the next few years...

    i think the late opening is due to the construction and expansion of the golden kingdom, even though it wont be ready till summer, i think that section of the park wont open till end of may at the earliest...

    its not going anywhere but to a recycling center, anyone who attended ROTB this year is a proud owner of a section of track from the ride...
