WOW, look how awesome the park was back then, if i had a delorean, id build a time machine so i could go back to when Ga had a bunch of flats! i much perfer the park then to now, ya all the big coasters are great but the park from back then was just a special place.

if i had to guess, some of thunder is probably gone, i know theres a camerea ontop of the chutes, im just trying to find a link where its streaming....

today is the last day of the season for Hurricane Harbor....

im pretty pissed that the coaster is going offically now, ive known since february, but was hoping six flags last minute changes would save it...

rolling thunder is becoming a path, and a coaster will never sit on its pad, ive known since february it was going but the reality of it wont set in till i see an excavator rip it down...

another piss poor decision by Six Flags, how in the hell is a drop tower worth Rolling Thunder, this park sure does know how to piss people off!

i think were going to say good bye to the right side of thunder, i think the left will be redone and removing just the right side opens up enough of an area to allow for a path to the back side of ka utilizing part of the old kk queue, that being said i hope that's all we lose because 2 coasters for a stupid drop tower that's going to have lines longer than SORA is ridiculous....

After looking at an aerial view of thunder and Ka, I think a thunder mod is in place, not a complete removal but more of a 1/2 removal....

if thundere does go i think a flat or two is a must to compensate for the walk, losing a coaster for a tower drop doesnt add up...

i saw what this drop tower does, and the 100 second ride to the top looks like pure hell, the drop is just as bad....oh and the line, you thought SORA was bad you aint seen nothing yet.....

Just heard some disturbing news, El Toro has suffered a major malfunction and is threatening being closed for the remainder of the season, can anyone confirm this???

ill take the odds of it not happening anytime soon...

looks like a slight change to the current tags, instead of a black lettering it seems everone's is now blue, that has a white tag, in the past blue lettering with a white tag was a supervisor, but it seems the different uniforms now distinguish who is a sup., so i guess my white tag with black lettering is a collector item now

Caught a few pics of Sci-fi this weekend while backstage in the VIP area for Electric Adventure. Still looks as good as I remember! Once I get a chance I'll upload the shots I got.

id say we should start seeing preperations for ff in about 3 weeks!

if we were to get a drop tower on ka, it would mean that the long term plan of the park is moving forward, connecting hh to ga, it also means a path to the back side of ka, that would be possible by removing rolling thunder and creating a path that would start to head towards the old safari gate and swing over eventually torward hh

if thunder was to go, it would have been a waste of money for them to replace all the rotting boards on both track in the past few weeks, the right side needs more work and is being done over night from what ive heard. so investing money for a few months seems wastefull, i hope it is something for old country to expand movietown and revive that area of the park that has been severly neglected in the last few years, all we can do is wait and enjoy what we have till then, dont forget Riding of the Bull is in a few weeks!
