Looks like Kingda Ka will remain the tallest coaster.

I don't see how all that would be possible. It totals more than the chain has invested in ALL parks together over the last three years. Not to mention the recent staffing shortage issues.

Not to mention that the pumps need to run continuously requiring a lot of energy.

Looking at the park's app, it seems several rides have been listed as CLOSED for the past several weeks. These include:
Air Safari (kiddie plane ride in Jr. Thrillseekers)
Barnstormer (well into its second year of construction)
Houdini's Great Escape (closed at start of the season, briefly opened, and then closed again)
Saw Mill Log Flume (closed the entire 2023 season for refurbishment)
Twister (extended downtime)
I wonder which of these, if any, are at risk.

July is almost half over and it seems the majority of Six Flags new for 2023 additions are far from opening. At GA we are still waiting on the kiddie Barnstormer to be reintroduced from 2022. If anything substantial was going to be added for 2024 they better start building now.

The 1977 map was the hardest one for me to find and the last one I found to complete my set of poster maps. It seems that they may have printed fewer of those that year. The 1976 and 1978 maps are much easier to find. Good luck!

I know that it temporary but it doesn’t appear too reassuring that it is safe.

I'm not sure what about GA could possibly fall into their weird category.
If I recall, Weird NJ did a small article years ago about GA’s collection of oversized architecture including the Fort, Super Teepee, Conestoga Wagon, and Yum Yum Palace.- 2

It is sad that there are idiots in this world like the guy who jumped into the alligator area which warranted the addition of the chain-link fence. It seems common sense is becoming scarce especially post covid.

Legoland 2023 Update:
I made my annual pilgrimage to Legoland in NY yesterday. It was a great trip even with frequent downpours. I was happy to see the new Water Playground was completed. In Miniland several new LEGO creations were nestled amongst the displays and numerous pathway improvements and new staircases made exploring easier. The biggest surprise was seeing a new swing ship ride being added to the water themed portion of LEGO City. The ride's boat is a freighter ship which is quite unique. I haven't seen any mention of this new ride anywhere so it was a welcomed sight.

This photo was taken later in the 1974 season. Even this first installation of exit bars did not provide much protection.

I remember one of the top prizes was a large screen flat panel television which were pretty expensive in 2008.
