  1. This is the way I remember GA :-) We had passes from 1993 until 2000.
  2. Yeah, I know. I was trying to be silly after finding all those links when looking for rollback video of Ka. Sorry :-(
  3. Didn't think so. But I wanted to make sure since you know everything on the Internet is true
  4. I should add that when we bring the kids, I can't ride any of the coasters so being in a long queue isn't an issue. On that note, got to ride Nitro and El Toro for the first time. <3
  5. Ok, I was searching for a video of Ka rolling back. And I got a ton of sites saying there were deaths on Ka. Obviously fake, yes? I live fairly close to GA, and don't remember hearing anything like that.
  6. This is covering a lot :-) I'm a T1 diabetic on an insulin pump. First time we came this year, I was pulled from the security check line and told by the supervisor that I didn't need to go through the medical detector with my pump. I assured them it was ok, but was told they didn't want to risk anything happening. Normally we come as a family, and since our youngest is 22 months, my diabetes supplies are in the diaper bag with whichever one of us stays with the baby. Today just my husband and I are here for the concert. I wasn't sure what I was going to do as I don't want to leave my glucose tablets and meter in a locker while in an hour ride queue. They gave me a "medical approval" sticker on my bag which allows me to carry my bag through the queue and leave it on the ride platform next to the cup holders. The ride attendants were all great with it. Just one thing less I have to worry about while at the park-I'm very pleased :-) I'm glad my worries were unfounded.
  7. When i bought the "I like it rough" shirt for El Toro...the anniversary shirts were behind the counter with a sign showing the decal, price and that they were for Passholders only.
  8. What is the "Iron Horse" treatment? Converting wood to steel?
  9. Just looking at one of my old pictures...I am wondering why there are people inside the fence so close to Viper. Is that how the exit line was? I really don't remember-but that looks like a family, not GA employees. Now I'm curious :-)
  10. Do any of you remember the red "life guard" chairs they used to have stationed in the queues for the major rides? I remember them especially in GASM. They weren't all manned, but they certainly helped!
  11. I am not sure if this is where this thread should be (If it needs to be moved, please do!!) Here are a bunch of photos from Easter Sunday 1997, which was Pass Holders Only Day :-) *****DO NOT TAKE A CAMERA/CELL PHONE/ANYTHING ON THE RIDES WITH YOU!!!! The ride attendants saw my camera and never questioned it. This was 17 years ago!!!***
