I found this cool website that utilizes deep learning to colorize black and white photos. I don't personally have any black and white photos so I decided to test them on GAH photos. It's not entirely accurate but it's cool to see the guesses it made. Website link here!

Does anyone know what this object is in the boneyard? I've been looking at Flyin Phil's photos + Google Maps trying to figure out what is, but I'm not certain. Does anyone have photos from inside the Pinball Parlor back in the day? I love pinball and I would love to see what they had available to play.

I work for Campus Security at my college, and I had to assist with registering returning students cars on campus last week. To do this registration, you had to fill out a form online then come to Campus Security, let us verify it against your registration, give them a parking sticker, and send them on their way. There were multiple communications sent over the summer saying that all students must fill out this form again (everyone did this same process the last two years in a row). It generally went okay, but of course there were people who didn't fill out the form, causing a line that shouldn't really have even existed. So, that was pretty annoying. Here's the best part about that day. A mom, dad, and their daughter (the student) walked into Campus Security basically yelling at us. Why? Because they shipped all of their daughter's things to school, rather than driving them here. Mind you, returning students all came back on a Sunday, so there's no mail service anywhere. They couldn't deal with that. All of her belongings were at Mail Services, and they kept demanding over and over again to get special access to Mail Services. They finally did, and had over 15 packages. The thing is, the daughter is a sophomore. She knew that Mail Services was not open on weekends. The nerve of some people though, right?

I was looking around online trying to find parks that had rides that Six Flags Great Adventure once operated. I'm not really able to find many pictures of it, but a park in Minnesota called ValleyFair apparently has the same model Super Cat that Great Adventure once did. There is some 8mm footage of it I could find on Youtube https://youtu.be/H8oSjOtFY2s?t=83 and a walkthrough from 2018 https://youtu.be/r4HRM6C3B_Y?t=2112. In the 8 mm film, it looks identical to the Great Adventure model, as far as I can see from the fencing. In the walkthrough, the guy pans and looks at it. It's definitely the same ride, though they have restored it and changed the outside of it. According to their website, it still stands and operates today. Given, the picture of the ride only features pictures of the seats. It looks like the park has a Monster Spin, Looping Starship, and a Ladybug ride, as well. Since there's not many pictures of the GA Super Cat, I thought this was cool to find.

Hi, everyone! So, I made one of these posts when I first joined GAH back when I was... 15? And now that I'm 21, I feel the need to redo this just because I feel as if I am a totally different person now! (Well, I still like smileys...) But, here goes! My name is Lauren and I am 21 years old. I am a senior in college and I am studying computer engineering. Several of my favorite past times include programming, roller coasters, and pinball. This summer I had an internship where I helped restore pinball machines. It was really enjoyable. I unfortunately have not been to Great Adventure since 2015. However, I really would like to go back. I've always enjoyed exploring this website, and learning all there is to know about Great Adventure. At one point in time, I used to go around the park with my family and pretty much drive them crazy with all of the information I had to share. As a teenager it was a real passion for me. Nowadays I'm really trying to get back to Great Adventure to see all that has changed since I have last been. I was reading through the posts that I had made throughout the years, and I couldn't help but laugh at myself. It was funny, albeit also a little cringe-worthy. Either way, I updated my about me on my profile to reflect my recent life. It has been fun re-introducing myself! I hope to be back on here more often.

Ah okay, it's a shame they took that stuff out, but at least that area is getting some use now. Glad to be back

Hi, everyone. It's been a while. I don't live near NJ anymore so I haven't been. I saw that that the new Cyborg Spin ride was placed in the Old Country area. Did it replace anything in there?

Not to mention that they are going to be closing Disney Quest, removing a whole part of the "Water park, Fun, And More" option. They're replacing it with The NBA experience, which probably won't be part of Water park, Fun and More. It's more going to be just "Waterpark and golf" option.

I got accepted into my top choice college with a presidential scholarship! I honestly couldn't be happier right now! I'm going to be majoring in mechanical engineering.

The other night I was working on my physics project (My school usually goes to GA for physics day but we went to Hersheypark this year for some reason). We had to work through many problems. However my teacher never gave us back the equations we need. I went searching online for them, and I found a Six Flags Great Adventure physics day workbook from 2013 with all the physics equations.
