  1. "largest park in the world" I have seen that mentioned a lot recently. What exactly qualifies our park as such? Are we a theme park or amusement park and what exactly is the difference. As far as park size goes I thought Cedar point was bigger.
  2. Has anyone actually gone to the malls website? Check out what their target market is http://www.americandream.com/information/?open=1 Annual household income of over $96,000.... the location of this mall doesn't exactly scream this statement and I don't think that "sophisticated" customer will be going here. -They plan to open an observation wheel.... there is one being built in SI - they state there is a concert venue,at the same location you have the Izod center that couldn't even be kept open since you already have the Prudential Center pretty much around the block I'm either missing a bigger picture with this project or this is being set up for disaster
  3. I say we just wait for this place to actually open to see what happens. This place has been there since 2003 and its still not open. I personally don't have high hopes and I can say even if and when it does open I have no interest in ever going. AC park I find hard to believe too. Any new project that has come up in recent years has been shut down. Look at the old Revel, the new owner has been trying to reopen it for over 2 years now and the city keeps bringing up new issues that cause the opening to keep getting pushed back. lets be honest, AC isn't exactly a family friendly vacation destination. I look at AC as this, you go there for an event at the convention center or to spend a weekend away to party. Its not a place to go spend a relaxing weekend.
  4. that doesn't look fun to me at all to be honest
  5. that dudes earing/s is out of control lol
  6. We don't need a birth child of Joker and El Diablo. That would be a poor decision if they went with that in my opinion anything new we get I hope isn't super hero named/themed.
  7. Also if and when this opens, I wonder if it will be open on game/event dats at METLIFE. the traffic over there will be a nightmare
  8. The issue with that is this coaster takes up a lot of real-estate
  9. I will believe this place gets finished the day I open the news paper and see a picture of the ribbon getting cut. Even if it does open that's not to say it wont close due to it being a complete failure. The fact someone is still willing to dump money into the place is crazy. I also see thing having very little to no impact on GA. Only thing I see as a positive is it might keep the riff raff away since they might go to the closer spot and losing that crowd really isn't a bad thing in my book
  10. did you guys make out ok? lol
  11. I was thinking the ride would be like coaster in Germany. Why would the trains be trash? they aren't worth selling as spare trains for parts? there are plenty of parks with inverts
  12. Think this is the right place for this. Share your most random GA story/trip/experience. Here is mine. This has to be maybe 10 years ago at this point but it was fall so it was Fright fest in the park. My brother my buddy and I where hanging out on night at my house (Long Island) and we didn't know what to do with ourselves so at 7pm we decided to drive down to the park. I think we got there with a enough time to jump on KK and landed one of the last rides of Nitro that night. Than we got in the car and came back home lol
  13. Are they scraping them or selling to another park? That's a lot of coaster to toss away
  14. I think GA has one of the worst crowds at an amusement park I have ever been to. I keep saying this recently but its like the Coney Island of NJ
  15. HA work pit stop at GA. Epic. Surprised they let you ride with a tie and didn't cry that it might whip someone in the face lol
  16. we all need the money lol taxes get raised but we don't see anything come out of it
  17. lol and NJ sucks lol cant even get cheap gas anymore lol
  18. I think NJ stepped in and said "hold on wait a min, yeahhhh...no" NJ doesn't seem to be very fun to deal with. Their rules seem to be over the top compared to other states. Hell, Phoenix at Knobbles doesn't even have gates between the people waiting in the station and the train, you just stand behind the yellow line. That wouldn't fly in NJ
  19. KK dispatch is a crawl compared to TTD. I think they should have kept the same station design for KK that they used on TTD. TTD set up works why change it At least when I was CP standing in line before the ride broke the trains where being sent out constantly. As I mentioned I didn't get to ride TTD a few weeks ago, we had bad luck. When it was open we where in line and it broke down each time before we got to ride. I also think TTD and KK roll back procedures are different. I think when TTD rolls back it just rolls back and rests and they go again. On KK it rolls back than they bring you back into the station, you get off and they test the ride
  20. sounds like a not so fun time. I usually have a great time at Dorney. Hopefully it gets better
  21. Well that's an issue in itself JK
  22. Nothing wrong with that lol
