  1. Justice League isn't listed on the page of attractions open for Holiday in the park. Maybe it isn't updated ? Also Nitros icon on the rides list for Holiday in the park has the picture showing different color scheme on the train and track
  2. Admission to Candy lane is only $18, at least that's what it was the past 2 years. Wild Cat I find rough during the summer but during Candy lane it rides just like Lightening Racers. I am actually surprised the Triple Tower is open in the winter.
  3. Keep in mind not all the rides at Hershey are open for the winter. Don't go expecting a fully open or empty park. if you do you will more than likely end up disappointed. If you go expecting just to pay a cheap ticket price, enjoy the atmosphere, walk around and enjoy SOME rides than you will love it
  4. The Flyers here are almost out of control. I scared myself last time I was on them lol Cheap prices, free admission, camping and the fact you can walk through the park with you best 4 legged friend make its a great park
  5. The line for the front of skyrush was only about half way up the steps so it was about a 20 mins wait. I also noticed the seats in the center vs the outside seem to be smaller. I sat in the center on the front and barely got the belt to clip in with the harness all the way down and belt fully extended. I find the harness on sky rush to be VERY uncomfortable and the fact it tightens down so much as you go through the ride really doesn't help. Comet, I find the same thing odd. Like you said maybe because of the location and the fact it is the smoothest woodie in the park. Wild Cat is rough, no hiding it.
  6. Chiller went flippy floppy and was converted to just lap bars, so I don't think its an issue. Now knowing that that is a NJ state rule about coaster over 300', I hope GA never builds one that tall. Talk about a buzz kill. And I am talking about giga coaster style, not KK styel
  7. So as part of my bachelor party get away this past weekend we spent Friday at Hershey Park. Every time I get back to the park I am reminded as to why its one of my favorite parks to visit. We got to the park at just about 10am, park opening, and the lot was pretty empty. The whole day wasn't too crowded with the longest line being Laugh Trax at an hour followed by Comet at just about 45 mins. everything else was walk on to 15 min waits. Sky Rush- Started our day with a back row ride and it delivered. We where all still a little tired from the drive to PA the night before but after that we where wide awake and ready to go. Great ride as always. we also hit it as the last ride before we left for the night. We scored a front row ride and then got back in line for a back row. The front row is fun but if yiou want to feel like you are going to fall out of the ride you sit in the back lol Comet- Great woodie, smooth lots of air time Super Dooper Looper- My buddys said it was boring, which I can understand but I love how smooth the ride is. Great Bear- Still one of the most interesting laied out inverts I have riden and the way they set up some of the supports really interest me. Silk smooth and I enjoy that its not super foreceful. Wild Cat- Still a rough ride during the summer months but I always find myself riding it every trip. Lightning Racers- One of my fav coasters at the park and still wish GA would get a similar coaster/s Wild Mouse- not much to say, fun ride to kill some time when it has a short line. Laugh Trax- I like this ride but either they found a way to cut down on the cars spinning or I lately seem to get in a car that the weight is so even spread out that it doesn't spin as much as the first few time I rode it when it first opened. Still fun regardless and the first drop will riding backwards is a blast. Fahrenheit- I like this ride but it has got a WICKED rattle, most noticeable while going through the cobra roll. Storm Runner- walked on line and never waited on a line as short as it was that day. $pm in the afternoon and it was a 3 train wait. Love it, great air time Tipple drop tower- We only rode the Hershey Tower (tallest of the 3) Really like how you get both shot up and then brought to the top and dropped. The ride seems super high with its spot located up on the hill. I also sat in the seat which was facing the middle tower which gave me a trip out when we went up and went past the top of it. you don't expect to be shot past the top of a ride that's so close so ti messes with your head. At least it did for me lol. All and all another great trip and I will be back in Nov for Candy Lane during Thanksgiving weekend, this time as a newly wed
  8. So what happens with ride up keep? Do they pick certain rides at certain times to be closed for an extended period of time? Id assume they will be making updates on their site as to when and how long and what rides are closed
  9. I'm sure Six Flags knew about it. I would find it very hard to believe that people in the industry don't know even a little something about what other parks are getting. Especially if two different parks are buying from the same manufacture and they both go "I want a record breaker in 2018" the manufacture cant promise them both the most loops or highest version of the same ride. Id think a legal issue would come to play at that point
  10. Sure there is, Silver Dollar City just announced it and theirs blows this one out of the water http://www.silverdollarcity.com/TimeTraveler
  11. and the nano coasters are awesome. I have the cyclone, what I call KK and I picked up Millennium Force when I was Cedar Point in July. I would have liked to get some more from the Point but at $35 each I had to be an adult and limit it to only one.
  12. I just realized Batman has been in the park longer than GASM
  13. hahahaha That happens to me when I am texting. it will never send and I wont notice it for a few days ha
  14. I haven't heard any real details on the ride and I have been all over the point buzz website. So I think there is still a lot left to reveal
  15. Anyone besides me ready for the bomb Cedar Point is about to drop today? 50 people got a sneak preview last week and they the general reports coming in is it has to be seen to believe. I almost pushed my recent CP trip back a year to be able to ride it.
  16. I don't see why it couldn't be converted to a sit down, besides SF spending the money. Floorless seats should be the same hight off the track as a standard train. The exception to this are the stand ups that have been converted to floorless like Mantis. the seats sit higher off the track to allow the same "heartline" as when it was stand up. Its not too noticeable but you can really tell when you are in the station. there are extra blocks on the floor that drops out that help you step up to be able to get in the seat. So if GL where to ever be converted id suspect the seats would sit just as high off the track as floorless conversions
  17. Knoebels is a good time for sure, Flying turns is a lot of fun
  18. Last time I was there was a sat in Aug last year so I figure it cant be any worse than that lol and yes the crowds make no sense at all at the park. Comet can have an hour and half wait and lightning racers will be walk on
  19. I always try to check out what is down on the ground when on Nitros lift lol
  20. RT deff could have been a good coaster if up kept properly. The rails where never even lubricated
  21. "starters are easy to replace" that depends on the car. But lucky for you your car was an easy one lol. Ill be headed to the park Aug 25th as part of my batchelor party. Hopefully the park isn't too crowded on Fridays
  22. I wouldn't say 25 mins is all that bad for a wait time.
