  1. I still have to go there. I love a nice old parks. I had a great time at kennywood a few years ago. It's a completely different experience. I also have to get to Lakemont park to ride the worlds oldest coaster Leap the Dips

  2. Why demolish the fort? I'm sure most of the superstructure could be used for a ride station and queue area. But theming seems to be an issue. Like what themes do we have? Green Lantern and Superman are good and being next to eachother, sharing a common theme is good. But do you make rides fit a themed area or have the rides have seperate themes?

I love the idea of a stunt coaster, been on the one at King's Dominion. It was fun and exciting but I can't see Great Adventure maintaining that type of ride. Sure the first few years would be great but give it a lil time and elements will be taken away. (batman)

  3. Yes. Present the voucher at the toll booth, they'll stamp it with the date, and once it's scanned at the turnstile, they hand you the pass. No processing line. As long as your pass and parking are on the same voucher, like mine was.

Good!! Looking forward to going now. lol

  4. Why is the path in old country reopened? I havent gone this season yet but if i remember from past seasons, there's nothing over there. You walk all the way around and the 1st thing open is dark knight and food places across from it (next to batman). Looking at that picture makes me realize how much space there actually is and how much potential this part of the park has.

  5. seems like this week was a bust.. So I don't need to go to season pass processing for parking? Do I use the voucher i print online to get in for parking then they scan the season pass voucher and parking is added to that? Would love to not wait over an hour in line for processing.

  6. the lines for batman are gonna be super long! time to open the "bruce wayne park" lol.. I'm looking forward to batman backwards. It's one of the more "intense" inverted coasters. I'll probably go on 1-3 times depending on how it is. I normally get a bad headache going backwards, thats why i stay away from the boomerang coasters, but I would like to sit in the front and the back to feel the difference. Not to mention different views than what you have going forward. El diablo is nothing special for me. I never understood the fear or scare factor in going upside down. It never bothered me. It will be nice for tall people like me to experience this type of ride because the standard carnival "ring of fire" is a super tight uncomfortable squeeze.

  7. I'm sure they don't spend all the money in their budget. Cedar fair i think charges more for the larger parks. I was just thinking, i've been to more cedar fair parks than six flags! They seem to have more themed rides too! Like the stunt coaster and flight of fear. The platinum season pass for all the cedar fair parks is also a crazy price like $180 something. Daily tickets are around $40. You can really see the difference in both parks though.

  8. If they raise prices, they have to raise the quality of the park. You want it to be worth your money. People pay that much for Cedar Fair because they offer a lot more. I woud gladly pay $120 like i used to and if that includes hurrican harbor than its good. Before i was paying $120 and that was just for the pass and parking. Do the trashy people buy season passes or day passes? It seems to me that if they're coming from the city, they wouldn't make the trip too often. If that's the case, raise the price of regualr tickets a lot and raise seson pass a little. They might also make more with the trashy people as they tend to like thrill rides.
