Nice TR and photos! Quick question about the safari. I have never done and would like to sometimes but a few friends of mine who have done it said that they have had the animals come up to their cars and did minor damage. Has this happened to you ever or it rarely happens?

I'm going to Hershey Park this week on 8/13 and 8/14. I will post a P:TR when I return. This is my first visit in a long long time. Any suggestions in what to do or not to do? Thanks.

Looks like the borrowed Nitro's layout a little bit. Still looks like a fun ride but the trains are odd. You can't really sit next to a friend unless you are in the first row of the car.

I only was able to ride robin and the rolls were the best. It was awesome while it lasted.

Thanks! That was my only complaint about it. But like I said before when I re-rode it I was able to see more and understood it a little better. The pre-show and scenery was really nice I thought for a $7.5 million ride. I thought it would be hard to like being I rode Revenge of the Mummy in Hollywood ($40 Million ride) previously.

Here are the notes -I went down to ride the Dark Knight. I thought it was good. It could of been better I thought if they went a little slower on the turns at the top because it was hard to catch all of the detail but I liked it overall. I wouldn't wait more than 30 min to ride it though. I did it twice and I liked it more the second time i did it. Also the second time I did it the pre-show video didn't work and we had to skip it. Hopefully the ride isn't starting to die out already! -Nitro-had a crane next to the lift hill and saw workers at the top fixing it. A friend of mine who went to the park yesterday said it got stuck at the top so it was closed the whole day. -KK still running 2 trains!!!! Why Six Flags? I waited for over an hour for this and they only ran 1 side 2 trains! -Rolling Thunder left side was only open and boy did it beat the living $%^&* out of me. It was rough as anything. This was my first time on the left side. -El Toro ran 2 trains then 1 train then 2 again. Still nice ride. -Heinz ketchup the ride was still running smoothly. -Skyway opened up later in the day. -Not too many cars in the parking lot but PACKED with buses and the park was packed with schools and groups. Nice photos! I'm going to try and head to the park within the next week or so to ride TDK. Hopefully the rush settled down.

Great spotlights as always! I really enjoy reading them all! This is one of my new favorites now.

I definitely will next time. I've taken shots from the Big Wheel and Skyride and I think the photos from the Big Wheel are little better just because you can go higher. Skyride is nice because you move foward rather moving up and down on the Big Wheel.

Nice photos! I also went Sunday and took a bunch of photos from the ferris wheel (but it was during the day) and everywhere else. They are a little similar to yours so I won't double post them.

I like those little water spray's especially on hot days. But being soaked gets annoying unless its hot out.

I would not be surprised at all if it stays for another year again. I still hope they scrap the plans and it remains the way it is...

Hopefully they are just renovating it but the way the park has been going removing every flat they have, doesn't look so good.

I took a short trip to Coney Island on Saturday. This was my first trip of the season. It was probably one of the better trips to Coney Island I've been to. Not too crowded. First went to the Cyclone to ride it ($6 a person). Everything in the station looks like it was painted. I heard about the new padding and was expecting it to be a little different. I got in with my brother and when they put the bar down I felt like I was on El Toro being stapled in. Overall it wasn't so bad, great ride as always. After we got out they offered us two people for $5 to ride again so we couldn't pass that up (normally $4 a person to re-ride). The second ride was just as good. 10/10 for both. After the Cyclone we hit Nathans and ate. Great food as always! After that we walked around the beach and by the Parachute Jump right under it. Overall Great day! Nice spotlight! It's a shame rides like these get removed from problems like the budget otherwise it will probably still run today.

As far as roller coaster "at risks" I would say GASM. It still runs well but parts are harder and harder to get and its popularity is low.

Looks good! Do you have a new park map by any chance too?
