  1. Well if our addition leaks and someone posts it here, expect it to get removed quickly.
  2. The name is the only surprise, everyone was thinking it would be Polaris, but to my pleasant surprise they went with a name I liked better
  3. I believe it is a combination of Gotham City (previously Movietown) and the new Metropolis area. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
  4. While Six Flags is known for making stupid decisions, I doubt that GAdv would want Bizarro to be removed for the sake of turning Green Nightmare into a floorless. My bigger concern is that Green Lantern is literally a parking lot coaster at this point. I really want to see it torn down as it adds nothing enjoyable to our lineup. If Bizarro were re-painted or maybe even re-themed, it would become a much more popular attraction than it already is.
  5. GAdv replacing and repainting track? That's certainly new
  6. Clean the park up. I would totally suggest this over a coaster, but Six Flags doesn't want to do what is most necessary.
  7. I made a pretty long post a few weeks ago talking about how I really wanted a frisbee to come to the park, and seeing that it's not only now a reality but also a record breaker is really nice.
  8. It's a shame that the leaks plus the new thread basically killed this one off. It's fun to have a really hot thread the night before announcements, and things like leaks and new threads should really be prevented in future threads. Am I the only one that's really annoyed by the fact that out of every single Six Flags park, ours is the one that always has it's additions leaked right before announcements? Has been happening since 2015.
  9. What we're saying is that we would rather wait a few years for a T-Rex than to get a Raptor. I could honestly care less about what we get next year as long as the park benefits from it one way or another.
  10. We already have one of those rides but it's on steroids (Sky Screamer) so adding it isn't necessary.
  11. I doubt we'll have to wait that long for a coaster. Six Flags doesn't care enough about anniversaries.
  12. Well with MM rumored to get a Mack Dueler next year, either that's wrong or SF is biased chain. Most likely the latter.
  13. Here is my final say on the coaster rumors. It's not happening in 2019. If it was, we would've seen plenty of evidence supporting it already, whether it'd be construction or teasers. If we don't know anything by now, it can safely inferred that the chances of a coaster are incredibly slim. I predict that a big coaster will come to the park in 2020 instead. Predicting something most likely bigger than a Raptor or even a T-Rex.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if this description was incredibly inaccurate, as SF ended up calling Joker "the most intense attraction in park history" just months leading up to its opening.
  15. I'm calling it that the coaster will come in 2020. We will get a Giant Discovery before then.
  16. With the Skywarp and Raptor/T-Rex additions being made from the same track, it's impossible to tell. I hope it's a Giant Discovery.
  17. Amusement Insiders kind of falls more to the fanboy "what we want to see" side rather than the "what is most realistic" side. If Coaster Studios or any other credible channel predicts this with actual evidence to support it, then I'll believe it.
  18. We're probably not getting a coaster for 2019. I have a big feeling that something huge will arrive in 2020 instead. If a coaster such as a Raptor or T-Rex was in fact coming next year, construction would've definitely started by now. They started construction for The Joker back in July 2015, and even that isn't as big of a project, so my thoughts at this point are either a Skywarp or Giant Discovery, hopefully the latter. Also, did Screamscape delete their 7/27 GADV update? Can't seem to find it on the site anymore.
  19. With Magic Mountain and Great America teasing huge additions for 2019, I'd assume that our chances of something even remotely close to a T-Rex are incredibly slim. I've heard rumors from several Discord Servers that Six Flags had cancelled all future Skywarps, however no evidence was shown to back it up, so take this with a grain of salt. The supposed reason for it was because of how much of an atrocity Harley Quinn at SFDK has become. If anyone has any more information regarding this, please feel free to share it, as it'll help make future predictions A LOT easier. If this ends up being false and we do get a Skywarp, as much as I don't want to see one, I would predict it going in the same area as Cyborg and Justice League, it would complete the area for the time being. Something I would much rather see than a Skywarp that doesn't include coasters would be a Zamperla Giant Discovery. We need one of these badly, and I would rather have it installed before a coaster even. We have a pretty decent thrill ride lineup thanks to the past decade, and something like it would help top it all off in a very well rounded way, unlike a Skywarp. Seeing a record breaking one would be even better, and it's totally possible for it to happen as we stole the drop ride world record from Magic Mountain immediately after Lex Luther's debut just a few years ago. As for where it could go, I could see anything in this region pictured here as fair game, it'd be really cool to see it compliment Ka and Zumanjaro the same way El Diablo compliments El Toro. If it does end up being a record breaker, then The Golden Kingdom will be one of the only park sections in the world with exclusively record breaking rides. Besides that, I don't really have an opinion on anything else. I think that we should be blacklisted from any kind of Skywarp since we already have it's "1/2'd" counterpart (El Diablo), we should get a Giant Discovery instead, and have our major coaster addition become a reality in 2020. I'm predicting it to be something huge and record breaking, even beyond a Raptor or T-Rex. Only time will tell at this point.
  20. Can you maybe put that footprint over where the construction at the Golden Kingdom is? Since that's where the new attraction is rumored to go.
  21. I think 2019 is finally going to be the year we see a thrilling, original coaster that will definitely give the other parks in the chain a run for their money. It's personally impressive in my opinion how we haven't gotten an original coaster in a long time, yet still remain one of the best parks in the chain. If we get a Raptor it'll be whatever and I won't be disappointed, but a T-Rex is in my opinion what can suite the park well with the amount of traffic it gets during the summer (not all days obviously) In my opinion, as long as we get something that can make us stand out from the other parks in the chain for the time being, I'll be happy. We've been swept under the rug for the longest time and I think 2019 will finally end that.
  22. I doubt the Skywarp Eclipse thing will happen, mainly because a lot of miscellaneous additions have appeared at the park since 2015.
  23. At this point, I'm hoping a new coaster won't happen for awhile and here's why. Six Flags does seem to be cheaping out, but this is mainly because of the focus being on the parks opening overseas. If we were to get a coaster next year or the year after, chances are it would either end up being a raptor clone (capacity nightmare and lacks originality, as does the rest of our parks coasters almost) or something along the lines of Twisted Cyclone (too short of a ride to even enjoy, the elements themselves are too common on other RMCs). Having something like Medusa Steel Coaster on the other side of the park by Nitro and Batman would be insane and would make our lineup amazing, and I think there still is space for an addition of that caliber in that area. Correct me if I'm wrong obviously, I'm not even sure how big the area is to be honest.
