    A common rumor is that, with Disney's relatively new ownership of Marvel, Universal Orlando is locked into their existing ride/attraction/restaurant licenses - no changes, no additions. It's what they have now or nothing at all...

    I think Disney is hoping that both areas will be stiff competition... but this expansion won't be complete for another year or so, and Universal is moving very quickly with Potter phase II.

    There was such an optimism and celebration regarding the wonders of science and the mind in the early 80's ... 3-2-1 Contact came to PBS, Mister Wizard returned to television with a new show on Nickelodeon... technology was moving ahead at a rapid pace (as it is now), but now I think we take it for granted...

    I reiterate: In designing a transition from the park to the safari, I hope care is taken to preserve the park's original themed elements that remain... especially after the relatively recent loss of the Super TeePee.
