  1. I went to guest relations a few times this year to say how pleased we were with the magic show in the kids section and the animal show in golden kingdom. The magic was pretty low budget but we do like the animals. Just wanted to support the cause to encourage them to keep trying. I also always ask when they intend to add more and that it would be nice to see a show in showcase like HITP. Hope someone there is listening.

  2. Nah, Tango Rocks!!!! Best ride in the park!!!

My 4yr old and I can stay on all day long. Bring on the 2nd over to OC. The masses will flock to it like like a Pokemon gym. Not a single person can frown on that ride. The jubilation in the air will energize anyone who comes near it.

No, I got the joke. It is just a stupid kiddie ride but we do ride it often when taking turns on El Toro. and I really do want a 2nd one on that side of the park when we take turns on Nitro and BM. I don't fit on anything in the kids area.

Hit up all the coasters one day then cruise over to Tango and stay on for 5 cycles straight and tell me it isn't fantastic. You'll see.

  3. I'm no fan of trying to price people away from anything let alone HH. I also don't think it would work. Even if they reinstated an up charge on the pass it would be minimal resulting in the same turnout minus maybe a few people. We would also bash the concept here for charging more without seeing upgrades to the park. I'm with Railer, they really ought to grow to handle current crowds instead of finding ways to get people away from going at all.

Railer isn't a bad and is one of the most active posters. Railers posts also seem to get a lot of conversations going and bring out some emotion at times. I don't agree with all of Railers posts but they are fun to read.

I'm glad he doesn't seem to take offence to some of the replies to his posts. We are all free to have our opinions and voice them.

So Railer, keep posting and I will be glad to see you at the park when the T-Rex is in the park. Everyone else, feel free to respond to all of Railers posts but don't take them personally.

Yes, Railers posts are fun to read and to his credit he does find information about new attractions that were not posted by anyone else. I'm sure he will move on from this one soon and we can continue to guess what the park will do.

  5. Smash mouth, Bone Thugz, Lisa Loeb, and Verticle hosted by Pauli Shore in August. We will be there. Haven't been in the arena since the 90's. Poetic justice to go back for 90's music. Do they have concessions inside? More to the point, do they serve beer?

  6. Anytime HH hits capacity or close to it, tempers run high. If your not experienced on the tricks to to make the park bearable it can sometimes be a pretty grueling experience. Today was one of those days for a lot of people. Very long lines for everything aside, there is also no place to sit, no table with shade to eat, you can't fall over in the pool or river without knocking into someone else and operations run slow. With that said, a family that came out trying to have a good time is met with the endless problems I laid out above. This causes them to lash out at each other or a fellow patron. Sometimes both. This was evident from my observations today. I don't know what the magic number for capacity is but it ought to be cut down significantly. I posted before that HH could make an exact replica of itself and it would still be crowded.

I also don't want to give the wrong impression, this isn't how it always turns out. Most of our trips are very positive and we go often. As a matter of fact my family had a pretty good time today. Just seems to get a bit ugly for the general population at or near capacity. Problem is you never know what days are going to be that busy.

  7. Super busy again today. Showed up late. About noon. All seats gone as expected. Lazy rivered over to new cove and to my surprise, many seats still open and remained that way for rest of the day. Cool. The cove was fun for the kids. Little smaller than I thought it would be. Certainly out of the way from the rest of the park. Not sure many people even realized it was there.

  8. Assuming it is JL and assuming it is going on chillers spot, as a guest looking for the good experience I would much rather have OC and movie town improved vs a rehab sim building become a new ride. We essentially get a whole new wing of the park with room for some cool flats vs a new ride in an area that's already established. We all spend our money there as we see fit to begin with, putting JL there certainly wouldn't get me to spend more. However opening a whole newish section would get better attendance coming in hence more money coming in and perhaps more money to spend on a big coaster next year. I remember reading about fitz wanting to solve the dead areas awhile back. This year the lake area got improved, hopefully next year OC/ movie gets improved. Think there are still areas a new coaster could be integrated without much overhaul.

  9. I'm in the camp that thinks it would be fantastic to add JL in chillers spot then maybe another cheap and dopey flat or 2 in OC. Would love if they added a second Tango lol. Restart some kind of daily or weekend show in arena as well as showcase. Open shops and snacks. Bring back the good life to that horribly dead area.
