  1. Parkfans.net has a main focus on Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Kings Dominion, but they do cover all parks on their forums and are well moderated.

The rollercoasters subreddit on reddit is great for keeping up with the latest information and trip reports.

The Inside Universal forums mainly focuses on Universal, Seaworld, and Disney parks.  They have some discussion on other parks, but that is a bit limited.  The Six Flags Magic Mountain topic is pretty active.

It’s been reported that Revolution at Great America (our Pendulum) has been removed and demolished in the process. It is done.

Yes, it was removed before Christmas.

Any thoughts about the Savannah Sunset Resort/Spa?  I guess I'm surprised with the number of actual tent structures they will be constructing, in addition to what seems to be a sort of central bunk house.  Perhaps I'm not visualizing this concept correctly.

This company is supplying the tent structures:

It's interesting to see all the doom and gloom on this around the fan groups-- I see mostly plusses, and I get Cedar Fair park fans fears of their parks declining, but Six Flags can only improve at this point.

It has been fun watching the Cedar Fair fans meltdown.  I keep on telling people that Kings Island is going to turn Action Zone into DC Universe and retheme Banshee to Batman The Ride.  They aren't handling the merger news well. LOL

Say goodbye to a few favorites!

That’s right! On October 28 & 29, enjoy your LAST WEEKEND to ride Mardi Gras Hangover and Revolution. While we will miss these attractions, it’s time to plan for future expansion! These attractions will be available during park operation on October 28 and 29 (subject to availability).

Six Flags plans to spend big on new rides, attractions across the U.S.

By 2025, the theme park operator anticipates investing upwards of $600 million on new rides and attractions at its 27 destinations.

Freeman said Six Flags Over Texas, which got a new Aquaman: Power Wave ride this year, is in line for more extensive upgrades in the future. The lead time on new rides is about 18 months and the company already has contracts in place for 2025.

“We love Over Texas. That’s obviously the park that started it all off for us,” Freeman said. “It’s a park that we want to keep exciting and fresh. Over Texas will not be underserved.”

Seeing a few videos mapping out what might be next years new coaster the Vekoma Super Boomerang. Showing it will be behind Cyborg and run into the catering area. This does explain all the marking by Cyborg and in the catering area. But what about the marking across the path from Cyborg next to Justice League in the maze area? None of the videos show the coaster using that area.  Makes me think the park is getting something bigger then the “off the shelf” boomerang. Time will tell though.

If the ride doesn't go across the front gate area, these are the other two configurations I can see.

If the queue and station is behind Cyborg,  the ride will be able to go over the existing path without blocking it.

If the queue and station is next to Justice League, the coaster will block the existing path and a new path will need to be constructed.
