We can only hope that Cedar Fair, SeaWorld, Herschend, and Palace Entertainment are able to bid on and save some of the parks. EDIT: And the presentation is now up. https://landandbuildings.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/LandB-Six-Flags-SIX-—-Thrilling-Real-Estate-Value.pdf

NEW FOR 2023!!!! lol But seriously, they need to find a way to make people excited about the parks again. It seems like the excitement left with Jim Reid-Anderson. -

I don't have a name yet, but have heard the new Park President was an account manager at Middleby. Here is the linkedin for the new Park President at Over Texas. Just a bean counter with no experience in this industry. https://www.linkedin.com/in/richard-j-douaihy-54954abb -

On this post, Jeffrey mentioned that the bumper cars are being removed for future expansion. https://m.facebook.com/groups/thrillseekersunited1/permalink/1303751803735826/?comment_id=1303825130395160&reply_comment_id=1303848417059498&mibextid=S66gvF The bumper cars are located across from the existing children's area and it looks like the perfect spot for a P'Sghetti Bowl coaster. -

It looks like a modern mine train coaster. I don't think this would be ready for Memorial Day weekend 2023, maybe 2024. I am guessing Six Flags purchased a bunch of rides at IAAPA that can be installed quickly as they scramble to change course. On the last earnings call, the CFO said that the beautification capex has been reverted over to attractions and rides. -
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/21/bob-iger-named-disney-ceo-effective-immediately.html "Bob Iger is back. Disney, in a shocking late Sunday announcement, said it had re-appointed Iger as CEO, effective immediately, after previous CEO Bob Chapek came under fire for his management of the entertainment giant."
